Glad that you are feeling better now. Looking forward to upcoming episodes, especially interviews (don't care for the Euros except the political commentary, yes). I'm happy to see more countries turn to African coaches for their national teams. Kwesi Appiah wasn't bad with Ghana, and his Sudan have slowly begun to take shape. I watched them against South Sudan for the opening of the stadium in Juba, and what a game. While you were right to call out Avram Grant, I felt that Tanzania deserved more ❤️. Their last match against Zambia in WCQ in Lusaka, which they won, should have had Grant fired at the stadium. Tanzania looked more serious than Zambia, and Zambia was on home soil. Give Hamed some cred. Since Sierra Leone held Nigeria to a 4-4 draw in Benin City, I've had my eyes on them. That was the beginning of my noticing the weakness with Nigeria that once a team is bold against this version of the Super Eagles, there's no midfield to stop them. Sexy jerseys and strikers can only take one so far. 4 matches into WCQ and zero wins. This is the best time to play Nigeria, and Lookman should not be in conversation for African Footballer of the year.

Brother, can I make two separate requests? 1: Can we get an episode about transfers on the continent, including coaches? It's tough getting reliable transfer news on the continent. Every news is Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. There's a market, and if you need someone on your team to apply, let me know cause it's a lot of work. I forgot the second request, I feel that we’re not doing our market service. You're a reliable source, hence my coming here.

What's the point of Morocco playing qualifiers if they're the hosts?
@bo858standupgomidi2 ай бұрын
Honestly I do believe you guys will qualify for the 2025 Afcon but Algeria has to change if they want to win in the 2025 African Cup of Nations because ever since the 2019 African Cup of Nations Algeria has been very disappointing there were knocked out in their group stages in the last two afcons and even though they're leading in the World Cup qualifiers, they were disappointing results at the end of the day. Now for Morocco I do believe they're going to qualify but the same thing I can't trust Morocco to win the 2025 African Cup of Nations yes they did well in the 2022 FIFA World Cup but they didn't live up to the expectations in the 2023 African Cup of Nations and I feel like they were disappointed there and they underestimated some teams in which they got knocked out by South Africa and for my nation Nigeria I cannot trust them at all because they have been very disappointed in the World Cup qualifiers and I don't even think we're even going to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup because we just lost to Benin and were fith in the group.

Why do you always apologize if the show gets longer than 30 minutes? You do realize that it's a myth that the best podcasts = short? We love the show however long it is. I was looking for your video immediately after Rhulani news hit me. I believe that Nagelsmann & himself suffer the same ailment. I don't think that you are fair to Mauritania & coach Ahmed. If every time you mention both, we have to be reminded that a black French man is on $35k a month. I watched their WCQ against Senegal. It was not an easy win for the Teranga Lions. How about we compare that to how much Petkovic is earning with Algeria and the performances against Guinea? Let's be considerate in our criticism. Similar was done to Finidi George (not by you), who was given a woefull contract, and a media blog created a beef with Osimhen (who should be ashamed with himself for running to social media to attack). It's a pattern that I notice continues to be repeated over and over. We are more empathetic to White "world class" coaches over indigenous African and non white Europeans (especially Black). If an African national team wants Rhulani, would $35k be too much, too? Man is worth 100-250k a month tbh. I know that it's not intentional, but it's the little things that many take as green light.
