2025 Art Supply Refresh

Great decision to start the supply refresh in Nov to have a list of gift you'd need! I also have some Copic Ciaos that I use maybe once a year but I do enjoy them. My selection is 4 greys & one black. I'm kinda glad I couldn't get more despite seriously wanting them at one point due to cost lol. I don't see myself expanding more, what I have kinda serves as quick way to do quick shaded work without having the messiness of a graphite pencils.

Re your pastels, have you seen monkeymintaka here on yt? I can’t remember if she uses pastels specifically but she draws in reverse and lays down broad colours and then pencils etc over the top for details. You might be able to use them that way? She does a lot of animal illustrations like yourself. If you haven’t seen her sketchbook vlogs, they’re the most addictive on the internet. I get sucked into them so must limit my time on her yt channel hahahaha.
