Just got my VIN for a 2025 in Portimao Blue. I ordered it with the 6 speed manual, black wheels, M highlight interior, and brushed steel interior. Couldn’t be more excited. I love this blue! My second color choice was the Baby blue that’s an M2 exclusive.

Awesome color. I've been wanting a dark blue lately as I've never had that shade in 40 years of driving. I 'm kind of torn between one of these and another stang if I decide to trade my 1320 in. But int rates will have to drop first and will only do it if its a good deal . Never had a Euro car, but really digging this model. The only thing's I dont like about it is lack of tan or white seat options and no ventilation. Oh and no V8 sound, but a straight six isn't too bad either with the right exhaust.

I've got one coming in Grigio Telesto, arrives December. If I had done a built to order 3 weeks ago, the expected delivery was January 2025. A new order done today (19/10/24) would now be arriving in March/April 2025. The 2 & 3 series are build in Mexico so shipping is a huge time sink, assume they've done that to serve the US market but it's made it really awkward for buying in Europe.

Nice video! I have mine on order and expecting a November 24 delivery here in the UK. I was deciding between Portimao Blue and Skyscraper Grey, to be honest I’m glad I went for grey after watching this. Blue looks ok, but at real life scale I don’t think it does wonders for the body shape. I think the grey will age better too with BMW’s current design language

I ordered last month (uk) for Dec/jan delivery. Could not make my mind up on colour. In the end went with the Brooklyn Grey metallic and carbon roof. I dont think this blue works but the Frozen colours looked great and would have been my choice but was advised against it as a nightmare to look after.

I am waiting on my Skyscraper too. What wheels did you get? I did black ones. Should be delivered in Dec/Jan as it already is in Final Assembly. I’d love to see it in the flesh, or at least a video. I think is the best color for the M2, other than black, but haven’t really seen a M2 in Skyscraper other than CGI… Hope we were right 😅

@@Naldoeche I went with the bi-colour. Initially thought about the silver alloys but it’s a shame the style they went for looks cheap in my opinion. Also not helped by the wheels not filling the arches. I saw a 2 Series in Skyscraper Grey and it looked fantastic, so I’m hopeful!

I’m going for a more out there colour, either Java green or vodoo blue. Nice choice though!

Hope they bring back the switchgear and a binnacle to stop the reflection in the gigantic display. Also if they announce xdrive for it it will be very exciting.

Is the carbon fiber roof just a skin over the metal roof or a full replacement?

full replacement. the carbon fiber trim weighs less than the other trims by a decent amount but can’t remember exactly how much.

So nice. I have a 22 M340i in this color, love it. Still won't buy a new BMW anything until they fix these dash boards. They need to integrate a lot of the that functionality into the bottom of the windshield, and a small tab mounted back into the dash more like the Neue Klasse concepts they have shown off. I'm not buying another Ultimate Driving Machine with a THX Movie screen for a dashboard.

Each to their own but I personally have no idea why anyone would order a M2 in Portamao Blue, it just looks like a bog standard blue you'd find on a Vauxhall Mokka or some tin pot Renault. Totally flattens the look of the M2. Entirely down to personal opinion though. The Voodoo Blue or Frozen Blue would be my choice of blue if I was into it, but then again I've just ordered a Grigio Telesto one which definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Small detail, but Portimao Blue is not a new color for 2025. Nice color on the M2.

It is new……The frozen version was available for 2024, but the regular glossy version was not.
