MERCEDES GLE All day everyday and everytime. I love BMW X6 too but since I have to choose then it is the GLE. Both are insane cars. However, when I drove the X6 it didnt have all these inside. Now I have the GLE and I am so happy and feel the luxury. And the fact that it can also jump from Luxury to a crazy Sport car is insane. The air suspensions are a thing of beauty!

Mercedes takes the win all day in. This guy I must say have an agenda against Mercedes. Where the Mercedes fall short he called. I think just the fake exhaust, cheap leather and steering wheel. But didn't call the bmw downsides on the less performance, weaker engine and bad suspension. The Mercedes glides while driving effortlessly but the BMW is shaky and fragile. Mercedes 🏆

The X6 appears more sporty and the inside gave off video games vibes. Whilst I do think Mercedes needs to invest more in their backseat design, I actually like how smooth and sleek the back of the car looks. The overall design of the Mercedes appears more elegant and like its aiming towards an older crowd, where as the X6 is more for a younger crowd. You can get Nappa leather on the GLE too, as well as, Netflix and KZbin on the entertainment screen. Lastly, the drive was beautiful and appears like you have more overall room in the GLE.

Picture this: the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE are staring each other down in a parking lot, and you’re there with a cocktail in hand, wondering which sleek stallion deserves a spot in your proverbial stable. Traditionally, I'd be a Mercedes man. Decades ago, Mercedes was safe, reliable, refined-basically, your dad’s car but with a subtle wink. BMW, meanwhile, was the rebellious cousin with sharp angles and a bit more muscle. But how the tables have turned: Mercedes went and put on its party clothes, trading buttoned-up in for sleek curves, while BMW, ever the fitness junkie, beefed up its physique, going for a chiseled, aggressive look that practically roars when it pulls up to the curb. On the interior, though, the GLE feels, dare I say, a tad "cost-effective" in places. Sure, Merc had its reasons for using slightly tougher plastics around your feet-probably easier to maintain than pampered leather that’ll end up scuffed by winter boots. But BMW’s throwing in those soft-touch finishes in all the right places, like it’s winking at you from the driver’s seat. The GLE’s interior stays relatively simple, which I respect-no need for a mini disco in your footwell. Some cars these days look like they’re one "Hey Google, play Ibiza Classics" away from turning into a nightclub. (Let’s be real, the last thing you need in your daily driver is an LED rainbow.) Now, the price tag: R4 million. You could buy a house-a three-bedroom house in a great area-for that, and instead, here we are debating cars that, yes, could very well need a garage that costs almost as much. How did we get here? Do we really need air-purifying seats and vegan leather to feel worthy of the brand? Chinese automakers are sneaking up fast, delivering similar features at a fraction of the cost. And maybe, just maybe, Merc and BMW should be taking note. Sure, luxury brands have legacy on their side, but in an age where everyone’s hunting for value, there’s a thin line between opulence and overindulgence. That said, if I found myself flush with cash, I wouldn’t kick either of these out of my driveway.

At some point i thought you were being biased against the Merc but the more i watched the more i realized you were right. For example, the rear of the bmw looks more aggressive than the Mer, no doubt. Also, the Mercedes has an interior that looks like it was designed to please old money guys especially with those vents. I quite like the BMW's interior. Its much nicer. I think the Bimmer wins against GLE in terms of front facier.

Honestly I like the brands both the same, but on this vehicle Mercedes is charging 8.000€ base more and delivering materials like that for more money is not okey.. I prefer the exterior appearance of the GLE just the plastic bumper at the rear is a bit annoying. At the end of the day it‘s down to taste and I love them both. Thanks for watching!!❤️

Trust me there is no bias here. I got to test both the cars (no driving just sitting in them and playing around) and the Mercedes interior quality is absolutely abismal. It squeaks and feels like extremely cheap plastic, especially the steering wheel which you touch the most. Its a real disapointment... The bmw has some plasticky buttons aswell that I dont like but the interior feels whell put together and sturdy. Really if you don't trust me, go to a Mercedes dealership and sit inside one of these cars that is more base spec than spent 20k on fancy leather and upgraded steering wheel and carbon fibre trims, and you will absolutely notice what I am talking about here. I was almost disgusted with the interior quality on Mercedes Suv's as of lately alltogether. A big shame since their interiors look extremely nice.

The X6 really feels like a step above the GLE. Wich is funny because it doesnt cost more. But the quality is so much better than the GLE. Olas Cost cutting is biting him in the tail. The Leather, the craftmanship, the steering wheel. The seats. Everything feels more high class in the Bmw than in the Mercedes. And then we compare the driving feel and the Mercedes feels like a Renault in comparison to the Bmw.. you can really feel that the bavarians learned alot from Rolls Royce.

The X6 alk day long BMW started the SUV Coupe body style so there's nothing that looks better then the BMW. To be very honest though there's no way ill pay extra for any Mercedes Benz over any BMW I'll take a one series BMW over an S-class Mercedes Benz, simply because BMWs are simply a nice cars. So for pricing Merc makes no sense.

I have a leased X6 40D and I really love the masculine, edgy design on the exterior and the efficient and powerful 3l diesel engine. But I really deslike the very strange, vertical display of the main display of the facelift generation, it is really spoils the fun! Why on earth isn't is possible to change it into a classic view - it is digital! Thats why I will switch to Mercedes next year...
