Great segment! I was about to put my 'new to me Oxygen helmet" up for sale because I found the shield unusable in low light or dark because of the distortion and glare. Great that this new shield will work on older helmets.

Agreed - the ‘ghosting’ that I experience at night isn’t awesome. Happy to see that this is an option - will try it out.

Nice. Not sure now if I should buy the current Oxygen on sale for $589cad and upgrade the visor, or just buy the new helmet when it comes out? Did BRP say the price on the updated shield?

I To use oxygen love helmet never found it to warm in fact most ti e drive with open a little it due to glass fogging get problem 's at high speed no problem my two bottoms vents are always wide open what will be cost for new visor Christopher ottawa

I have been avoiding buying an Oxygen because of the glare issue, but this new shield has a different profile, might wait for a night time riding review before i spend the money m totally happy with my Titan but you can never have enough gear it seems

That was one of my concerns when I looked at the Oxygen last fall, seemed almost too warm. Excellent helmet otherwise and this is an improvement.

He mentioned you can replace with the new shield which is great, but can you still use with the old 3 position controller or have to get a new cord?

Mike - does your helmets sunvisor mechanism freeze up all the time? Mine does and then I’m unable to bring the visor down due to ice buildup etc.

Hey Roman. I have experienced that yes. Usually flipping it down the first time it's fine and then once you flip it up it won't come back down again. It is definitely frustrating. I don't think Mike has experienced this on his Oxygen as its only a yr old. My oxygen is four years old and its done that since Day 1. Thats why what I usually do is I don't flip it up all the way, I leave it hanging down ever so slightly. Cheers, Jesse

Just reach out to your dealer. They will have the 2025 catalog with the part #. You can also look at the 2025 catalog on ski-doo's website and you will find it. Hope that helps! Cheers, Jesse
