Thermal management is key to longevity. My BMW i3's battery has kept its battery capacity with very little degradation even though it is a 2014 model. My BMW C Evolution had thermal management too so it was very consistent. My Zero SRS is air cooled which is quite temperature dependent. I wish Can Am's next products have bigger batteries.

Depending on specific taste/needs these may be a solid first effort. For me, like the H-D Livewire... range is a no go and without true fast charging capabilities, and electric bike is no where on my radar. I really like the Livewire, but still hoping for my two biggest misses to be updated. I'll keep my ICE H-D, but I also like the possibilities of electric if done right for real use.

Wow, I have not seen your name in a long time, Kent! Back in the old days of the paper magazines. Nice to see you in the flesh here. Looking forward to much better battery density and mileage with the electrics. Tired of dealing with maintenance on the ICE front.

u know an electric motorcycle thats better? ebikes that can do 60-80 mph depending on how much cash u got. u dont need a motorcycle license, u dont need insurance, u dont need registration....hop on the sidewalk, bike lane, all the benefits of a bike and non of the hassles of owning a vehicle.
