Do your research and due diligence. Spread your investments across different sectors. Balancing your portfolio is the best and safest way to make money. For example, having equal amounts over multiple projects, then having them all doing multiples for you is better than risking all on one project. Because the flavour rotates every week. Take steady profits on major support/resistence levels and buy the dips when we get big 30-40% pullbacks. So long you have profits locked in and diversify your investments, then you are good. Like Jesse said, once you take out your initial investments, it will help you regulate your emotions better.

This cycle I’ve had to resist the urge to shift capital around to the “hot” projects. I’ve made a couple mistakes so far, but for the most part just bought low and holding good projects. I’m up a couple X on most. It’s such a good feeling to do it right finally, despite the few mistakes.

I can’t tell if you’re happy about this or not haha. I made money on both because I had a strategy and knew what I was doing, but people who just jumped in without doing their own research lost money. Strongblock turned out to be a ponzi but Olympus is still going strong. I’ve made quite a bit on Olympus during the bear using their cooler loans.

Superchain, Elastic Chain etc aren't the same thing. They're like mini ecosystem specific solutions. But in order to join the Superchain you need to use the OP stack, pay a tax to optimism, etc. AggLayer will connect Optimism, Arbitrum, Zksync, Cosmos, Solana, Sui and everything else. Doesn't matter if you're EVM, SVM, MOVE, etc. No tax, maximal neutrality. It's complementary to things like the Superchain or shared sequencers, not competing against.

I’d love to hear more about liquidity. I’m hearing more about that and want to know if it applies more to those who have a large amount invested or if it can impact smaller amounts too. Some people say to sell in the so called “green zone” where there is still liquidity, but that area is significantly lower than where the project could potentially go, and I hate missing that upside if it’s there. That’s why I appreciate your perspective on selling in 3rds to kinda mitigate that FOMO. Anyway, I’d love a deep dive!

If there isn’t a ton of liquidity, this is primarily an issue with memecoins and smaller projects. For 99% of people this won’t be an issue but it’s worth understanding liquidity, especially if you make a lot in a single play.
