I'm 5'6 and I just transitioned from my 24 Yamaha R3 (seat height 30.7) to a 25 Zx6r (seat height 32.7) I have no issue keeping the bike up. At a stop you should slide to the left of your seat a little bit, keep your right foot on the brake, bike in gear, and get comfortable tip toeing your left foot to keep you up. The seat height of a 660 is roughly the same as a 6r, so you should have no issue if not, all most flat footing your left foot anyways.
