2025 Dodge Dakota Pickup Truck Finally Unveiled | First Look

I own a 2006 Dodge Dakota SLT with the Magnum engine and absolutely love it and this is something I would buy. But from the looks of it, it looks like it is a unibody instead of the seperated box. That is the only thing that would bother me but if it is a 6ft bed and not a 4ft. I 'll buy.

I've had 3 of them since 1988. I currently drive the Sport 4X4 Quad Cab with a 4.7L Damler overhead cam motor. You won't get a 6 ft bed with a quad cab. I was a bit confused regarding what seemed like 2 different body types also. The unibody version is weird and I don't think I like it. Would although love to see a TRX with a hemi.

Since other 2025 vehicles have been out since September and clearly the Dakota is not ready to launch with so many Could, Might, Possibly, Likely and other modal verbs, indicating the uncertainty of readiness, it should be identified as a 2026. With a 14 year gap in production the Dakota has a lot of consumers to win over. Looks like a decent rig with a pleasing style which is a full 180 from the cubic design of its last years.
