First service cost wasn't terrible. About equivalent to the S1K first service cost.

Could you show us a glimpse of the My Ducati app? What it contains, is it more than just "the basic stuff". For example on the BMW app you can trace back your whole routse, speeds, lean angles etc at any given moment. Thanks!
@BT_Moto19 сағат бұрын
The BMW connected app provides more as far as motorcycle connection options. The Ducati app is more like a news and reminder app where you can setup appointments, etc. Once we get the multimedia app and module installed, I’ll go into what that provides as that will be more like what BMW offers stock.

Why would you buy a base model only to pay for the same parts after the fact ( ie Marchesini wheels, sport seat, etc...) ?
@BT_Moto9 күн бұрын
@@dwainmcarthur2565 for a build series, and it’s better parts in the way we want it. The front fender on the S, for example, is just matte black plastic. We got the carbon front fender. Would have to get that either way. Manual suspension is the way to go for most track riders so we wanted to set our own up.

The 2022 to 2024 Panigale have that exact cooling duct for the gear sensor
@BT_Moto9 күн бұрын
@@Chris_Panigale85 they do, but the initial models that had the failure didn’t. It’s just to show how Ducati fixed bike issues rather than just repair a known issue.

@@BT_Motofunny you say that. I was eyeing Panigale before V4 came out. Maybe it was 2016 or 2017. I test rode their smaller V2 at the time (9-something model ) and it felt so agricultural in the way that motor worked. I couldn’t do it. When 2018 V4 came out and I test rode it, I was sold immediately and bought it.

Looooolllll It is not just an oil change as we check oil...metal shaving...error codes. Why isn't that what you are supposed to do at EVERY service? Change oil and check that everything is fine, that there are no metal shavings, error codes and that everything is bolted down??? I am Italian but PLEASEEEEE let's not tell people funny stories. It is very simple: Ducati charges much more than everybody else hence if you wanna own a Ducati.... you'd better be prepared to spend a lot of money in parts and Service! They are VERY expensive just because they can charge you that much. It is a premium brand and you pay accordingly it is very simple. It is not because they do something "special" or different. By the way I love Ducati and own a Panigale myself .....
