The problem with burden is he needs to be able to play outside and not exclusively from the slot. If he can’t play outside you get Jayden Reed. Who is a good player and is someone you want on an nfl team or bestball but a risk in a lineup league

I believe he does have that versatility to play inside outside but I also think it’s a bit of a silly reason to be out on a player considering the amount of superstar WRs out of the slot in today’s nfl. ARSB, JSN, Kupp to name a few.

Don’t apologize about Burden, super talented and WR2 for most but his stats fell off last season too. First 6 games were ungodly good and the next 7 were the same as this season, average. He has a much larger sample size of being just okay the last two years.

Im brand new to dynasty, and taking over a weak team. I have the 1.01 and 1.05, but only 3.01 and 4.01 after that. Best QB on my roster is Russel Wilson, so I need some help, but not sold on taking either qb that early. I'm locked in to Jeanty, but not sure if i should just go best available at the 1.05 and pray, or if theres anyone specific i should be hoping for.

if your team is actually bad just take the talent at the skill positions and wait for qb and just build out your roster don’t take the qbs in a weak class that only have top 12-18 potential

Trade 1.01 for players and picks. Someone will give the farm for Jeanty. Start drafting WRs as they usually have longer careers than RBs. Next year, get your QB (Arch Manning). Within these first 2 seasons, pick up young backup RBs that might become the next great due to injury or something (Tank Bigby/Trey Benson etc). Then, year 3 draft your stud RB.

Trade the 1.01 when you’re on the clock for an absolute haul. I would target an elite WR (top 15) and some on top just depends on who you’d be getting. At 1.05, if BPA is a RB then trade out of it or trade back a couple picks and get Egbuka.

1QB Non-PPR IDP League, start 1QB, 1RB, 1WR, 4 Flex, 1DB, 1LB, 1DL, 1K. I have the 1.01 and the 1.07 and I'm trying to make a draft board. Jeanty is obviously my S Tier 1.01 but for my A tier I have Tet, Luther, and Hunter on the WR side, and Hampton and Johnson on the RB side. Who should my 6th player be? Henderson? Judkins? One of the TEs (we aren't required to start TE)? Somebody else? Would you move any of the players I have in this tier down for somebody else? I also have the 2.01 so I'm working on my B tier. Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks!

Pittsburgh doesn't invest in 1st round WR's (2006 was last 1st round WR pick). They feel like they can develop skilled later round guys who may have had off the field issues that dropped them lower. Position wise it makes sense but with O line and possibly QB and even RB concerns, think they address elsewhere imo.

No one is really talking about this but Tyler Warren looks like he is going to be 25 in September. I say looks like because it is extremely hard to find his date of birth on the internet. I found one source that looked legit that had his D.O.B as September 2000. Still like him as a prospect but it kind of explains why he looked like a grown ass man out there. Because he is a grown ass man.

Not really. Last year Dylan Laube was very hard to find but everyone chalked it up to being from a small school, not that he was a 24 year old rookie. This year the prospects that are reported to be older and that I'm having the hardest time finding their age is Warren and RJ Harvey. It took quite some time to find Warren's age and I still can't find Harvey's. It might just be coincidence that it's usually the abnormally older prospects but I've had no problems finding the guys that are 20, 21, 22 or even 23 years old.

Burden tape is awful, all manufactured touches at or behind the los. Nflfilmroom or Just the Tape, check those channels out and watch for yourself. Glorified malachi corley, savion Williams tape looks the same except with better running ability and contested catches which burden has none of.

Btw he had the same qb both seasons and brady Cook is projected as a better qb than fifita. Sure he was missed on done deep throws but so was every other wr, not a 1st round wr imo, golden is a stud btw

I agree that he doesn't have a route tree, but he's sooo explosive when he gets the ball, that I could see him get deebo Samuel usage in the NFL. Agree tho that he needs to expand his route tree, for me to feel better about him.

Couldn’t disagree more. Yes, Missouri gave him manufactured touches and their offense was awful. Including Brady Cook who massively regressed in 2024. However, if you are preaching to watch the film then you WILL see much more than that.

It's due to lack of depth, if a position is weak or lacking depth then you have to prioritize it where as with rb being deep you can pass on it and address it later. What's the gap between jeanty and Henderson or judkins? The wr class is top heavy with hunter, tet, Egbuka, and golden; higgins, royals, burden, bech, savion, and Noel are good as well but there is a tier gap

I don’t think it’s a poor WR class but it’s not the 2024 class by any means. In this mock I had 10 RBs go in the 1st 2 rounds, which was the most of any position. If you go back and look at 2024, there most of the time wasn’t even a RB in RD1 of Rookie Mock Drafts.
