For senator kase per state sa US pupwede ba sa atin yun? Since divided na ang ating bansa per regions that way yung senator na candidate eh dun sa isang region na resident sya less gastos. Sa mayors and representatives ganun na ang practice di po ba? About vote buying tho its true eh ang hirap mahuli… siguro po yung budget ng isang kandidato at kanilang SALN… Isa submit ahead kasama ng pag file ng kanilang candidacy para may time to publish it for public to know kung ano talaga ang kanilang mga asset para po kung sakaling manalo eh alam ng publiko na hindi sila yumaman when they are already in a position…

Before election there should be town hall meetings, debates it’s where electorates will find out the character and intelligence of a candidate, it’s like job interview the hiring manager wants to find out if the applicant fits the job he/she is applying for.

Yung mga tumatakbong senador puro bagong batas ang iniisip. Pwede naman sila magrebisa ng mga outdated na batas. Textbook example yung pagrevise ng mga requirements sa mga kakandidato, lalo na kapag national.

Great topic. Thank you. Although I'm a bit perplexed. If you understood what he meant when he said it is not feasible to implement a hybrid system in the coming election, please explain it to me. The manual voting method has been used before smartmatic came along, so the procedure, the skills, and the infrastructure are already existing. For the electronic transmission, you need laptops or computers, worksheet applications and wi-fi. They can be purchased off-the-shelf. They don't need to be especially manufactured or programmed. I assume that the teachers or election officers know how to use computers. If they don't know how to use a worksheet, it probably wouldn't take more than a day to train them how to use a worksheet and upload files. Even android phones have worksheet apps. And after smartmatic, COMELEC already knows how to consolidate the uploaded worksheets. This is how I imagine what the hybrid system will be like. I'm not saying this is the only way. The TNTrio group is composed of IT experts. Maybe you can ask them about the details of a hybrid system.

A mobile phone with a worksheet app might even be sufficient at the polling centres. COMELEC just needs to provide the worksheet template.

Ako pi ay nasa america for almost 40 years of my life… sa US po voting a president ay may electoral sec and whatever majority vote dun yun ang ini honor… meron din popularity vote na ang public citizens eh bumoboto rin… my question po hindi ba pwedeng gayahin ang kanilang method? Even i magnify natin na each region eh may kukunin like based sa laki ng population sa isang lugar?
