Gotta say. Yes retro fonts are in, but make sure you’re using quality fonts. As a graphic designer I see way too many products with choppy or ill fitting fonts just because it’s hip. Your products will look cheap if you use a bad font, and ppl will notice.

Lots of good information as always, and I appreciate all this great info. As a professional cake decorator, that cake trend with the rats and "chaos" cakes is just a HUGE no. There are Facebook groups for those kinds of chaos cakes, called "That's It! I'm Cake Shaming!" Those photos look like people who wish they could actually decorate cakes. I also live just outside of Baltimore. The city is infested with rats so ewwww!!!

Interesting about strawberry being popular...I'm gen z and amongst my peers strawberries are def cringe now. they were associated with being trendy in 2020 along with frogs, mushroom, and cottagecore. All of which are on the way out, if not fully out with us younger folks. Maybe millennial and gen x customers are lagging behind with buying trends?

Thansk for the trends look over, I learned a lot. However, The Pinterest section had strong Ai vibes. Even if the photos are 'real', they definitely used AI as a basis because the jeans and other things didn't make sense. Not to mention all the mistakes with boomers intsead of zoomer. Ugh. How am I supposed to take their trends seriously?
