Adding on as I’m halfway thru (Talking about vengeance) A few thoughts: the religious/spiritual thing: although we have the push of Christian nationalism, which has always existed, there is also the ideas in “the New Age” movement (coined 50 years ago & informed by lots of ancient teaching & ideas-ironic name) the idea of some kind of ascension. It’s not just Christian fanatics thinking about the ultimate escape. Historically, in challenging times the idea of after life springs up-complete with a final justice. Animals and plants don’t create stories. We are having extreme weather, the effects of the damage humans have done to this living system we are part of cannot be ignored. The strife and human dramas currently being played out stem from that truth: we shit in our nest, we are feeding toxins plastic to our chicks, our migratory routes are hard to see due to Smokey air, the magnetic poles shifted…we have lost our way. Our human dramas are important but the crazy (cruelty, bossing others into submission is crazy) -the crazy is due to the reality that the forest is on fire and no one really knows what to do-the greedy hang on to all, the frightened self medicate. We need to be like trees for a while. Just be. Observe. Be nourishing. Even if the stars and planets point to chaos. Trees survive a long long time.

Thank you all for this overview for the year to come and for all you contribute to the world!! Just curious if any of you at Chani have read The Fourth Turning by William Strauss and Neil Howe? The astrology seems to really align with their thesis. I recommend reading the first half of this book, as it was published in 1997 and offers a detailed historical overview. And then pick up The Fourth Turning is Here - Neil Howe published it in 2023. I believe it will change how you look at the current and future astrological readings, as they move through American history over the last 500 years to illuminate clear 80-100 year cycles (or gates) of total upheaval that lead to a new ordering. You touched on WWII in this episode, which was the beginning of the current cycle we are in (we entered the 4th and final turning of this cycle around 2008). I think you will all find this pretty fascinating.

The way it was explained to me (by females formerly in US Army Intel groups).... that if someone were to put all their fem cycle info into those hormone/cycle tracker apps, then potentially corporations or (worse yet) the govt could use that info to find out what women/girls are 'of age' to 'produce healthy/viable offspring' for 'replenishment of troops' (in event of world wars and such). I'm too old to be on someone's watch list for that mess but honest to gods I hope answering this doesn't get me on a diff fu@kin list. 😅🤪

If you record your cycle in an app, it can be used as “evidence” if you are being investigated for a suspected abortion. The company could get subpoenaed and they’d be legally forced to share your personal cycle data with the police. Some companies don’t store your data at all - so even if subpoenaed they’d have nothing to share. For example, the Signal texting app is a company that does not store any data about how you use Signal. Whereas something like WhatsApp that encrypts your texts (which means they are less vulnerable to being hacked) still store the data of your texts and so could be subpoenaed to be shared in court. So if you can find a period tracker app that stores 0 of your data, then that’d be an option to use safely. But you’d have to very much trust the company, be able to understand some of the technical jargon so you can keep an eye on their policy to make sure nothing changes.

I think that when enough men lose their wives because of the draconian patriarchy and they are forced to not only be the breadwinners, but also have to take over childcare because their wives could not get the care they needed to survive they tide will start to change... that is my hope and dream... I'm offended because I have Mars in cancer... I don’t behave like a toddler when I don’t get my way. Often in life I didn't and I've had to actually learn to process dealing with others whose ability to regulate emotions were unbalanced. I am incredibly emotionally mature and healthy. I don't like this depiction of this placement. You associate Mars in cancer as a negative.Where are the positive attributes of Mars being in cancer?Because i'm not hearing any of that from yall. I should also add that this was not intend it to be a tantrum. I was making a delayed joke as I tend to only hear the negative of this placement and not ever a Positive as they share the pros. I have it too in the 12th house and of course I don’t relate to those qualities in myself, but I’ve definitely seen those energies playing out in the world because everyone is not mature or well emotionally regulated.

@honoluluwampum yeah I agree and am aware that the majority aren't able to self regulate through such deep feelings with this kind of transit or even placement (my mother has this placement and it's like I'm the parent seriously lol) so yes I know it can play out differently in everyone. Just erks me to hear almost every astrologer have more negative than positive to say about it as I don't relate to any of their pathological interpretations of it. Mine is in 9th house by the way. For me it acts as a superpower. Like my way of asserting myself is through exploring unconditional love and passionately traveling inward to get to know my own inner home. I find it nice. Anyways...
