Well I was actually hoping for the thunderstroke 122 for the Roadmaster. I do like the new models though.

Thanks for the update. And please do a video on the super chief dark horse as soon as you get one in stock because that’s a bike that looks like it checks all the boxes.

The power plus Chieftain looks awesome. Wonder why they discontinued the FTR?

Mixed feelings about these updates. Traded my 21 Challenger with just 11,000 miles because of continuing problems related to “technology”. Loved the bike, hated the constant fear of breakdowns. I did a lateral trade for a 23 Chieftain. So……damn I want hill assist……😮

I had a Springfield DH and Chieftain DH and both were troublesome. On a BMW now and not looking back. Super glitchy ECM’s on those Indians. The Challengers were the worst in terms of glitchy software. My 1998 Road King, 1983 Goldwing and ‘73 Guzzi were more reliable. The Springfield liked to shut itself off in intersections.

I’ve owned several BMW from GS. RT. K1600GTL. NO Issues NO Problems.Loved my various HD But Issues from All of Them. Never Owned or Ridden a Indian But Seriously Thinking About Them Especially After The 25s R Out. But if the Tech isn’t Good I don’t know👍🤔👎

@ Super glitchy. I worked at an Indian dealership. FTR's & Challengers were the worst. Mercifully the FTR has been disco'd. Anything wrong with your Indian and Polaris looks to blame YOU first. My advice if you want to take the plunge is let them shake out for a year first. My bikes were never sure how much gas they had in them. Super lame.

I wish I could buy a new 80" EVO in 2025. No use for more and more power... even my 2003 Ultra carried my wife and I all over the USA at any speed we wanted up to 100 even... today I rode alone on the 2007 Road King on my channel. I debadged it and then went to Indian last year to check out some options... the chieftain, pursuit, and Springfield all felt fine but way too much motor just to jack the prices. I also prefer my basic, almost zero electronics, Road King... nothing but EFI and then analog speedo. Less to go wrong. I think HD and Indian are pricing themselves out and other brands have 5-7k new bikes.

Don`t like the linked brake idea. I like the control on how much to use on ether front or back. and if something goes' wrong with the lines like a leak or minor crash, you would lose all brakes and leave you stranded that you could have got to a safe place or home. Just my thought.

No radarcruise?? Colour options needed.

@richardvalitalo3670 no, would be nice to see front and rear radar, but only rear for the moment

Looks like Indian had an epiphany with the single heavyweight touring frame plan, with one frame/chassis trundling down the assembly line to become whatever bodywork you slap on it which HD has done forever. Any choices currently offered that rely on a different touring class frame will soon disappear .

So the power plus chieftain and roadmaster are the same bike. It’s like the challenger pursuit and challenger ie; fully dressed with a trunk and lower fairings vs without. Or am I missing something?? I’m not talking about select paint options or a touring 2-up seat as standard, either. I mean any real/actual differences; like built in tech (safety and or creature comforts), engine performance, handling, faring shape, fender shape, etc. I mean the original chief, then chief vintage; got discontinued. They kept the Springfield in its place. They too were the same bike except for saddle bags and similar bolt on parts. So I imagine the chieftain eventually gets discontinued; likely when they discontinue the Thunder Stroke option. Mostly because the (new/current) chief is based off of it and the roadmaster is the touring option. Ultimately being the roadmaster dark horse, roadmaster elite, roadmaster pursuit. (Just my prediction). Without rambling any longer they need to drop the scout down to scout bobber, scout (classic), scout 101 and offer all but the scout 101 in both cc options. Lose the sport scout and super scout, both are just bolt on part differences from the former mentioned. Same with the chief line up. :end of my rant:

I don't know why Polaris has sacked it's motorcycles with "outdated" paint. Common smoke still around? Harley has beat both Victory and Indian in the" pleasing to the eye" colors. I have a Blue 2019 Chieftain which is beautiful, but any other model I might consider is going to the painters asap!

122 horsepower is pretty low for a liquid cooled engine. Harley's liquid cold V-Twin is 150 horsepower.
