I'm from a small city in N Minnesota that doesn't have a wealthy economy either. I always price a little high with hopes that the right person will come along.... I've sold some pieces for whopping multiples of what I paid for them!! Start high because people LOVE it when the price drops eventually too!!! You win either way!! 😊

Pricing is never easy! I suggest to not discount your time! You can always mark the piece down if it doesn’t move! Love the painted pieces!

I vote for sourcing! The furniture looks great and I’m terrible at pricing my stuff. I seem to price my items too low.

Price it where you need to be and give it time, then pop a sale price later if they don’t sell 👍🏻

I’m in Central Arkansas and face the same pricing issues as you…to add icing on the cake my town is a retirement town- there are retirees on a budget and there are wealthy retirees. I tend to price low to cater to those on a budget. I don’t usually have sales on my booth because my prices are already low. I’d say take the day off and do something for yourself. 😊😊😊

Sourcing keeps me motivated! Pieces similar to yours in my area sell for about the same as your area! Do you have to use any seal on the painted pieces?

I had a nightstand, nothing special as far as I knew, and I was using it to display smalls. But, I figured if it was out on the floor, there was always a chance someone would want it. So, I put a "don't buy me" price of $100 on it, and someone bought it.

Fusion is by far my favourite paint. But expect to be paying a lot more for it once your President imposes 25% tariffs on all Canadian imports.
