I love this bike. A super sport that you can comfortably ride on the street. I'd argue its more an advanced beginner bike and not the best thing for a true beginner. The clutch on this bike bites super fast and the throttle hand is incredibly sensitive which is something a lot of people who have been riding for awhile tend to forget. Also at nearly 10k out the door I'd hate to drop it as a beginner while practicing low speed maneuvers.

@@RayBowdenRides The bike does not have that flat spot between 5,000 and 9000 rpm. Pulls evenly to redline now. The bike is perfect for where I live. out in the hills with winding narrow roads. bike is so light and nimble and its great being able to wind out that engine and not be going ridiculously fast...I posted a sound clip of some drive bys. I think it sounds pretty mean!

Great review again! Perfect description of getting two bikes in one. Yes, the 4RR is more expensive than the others in the small cc bike category because you get more bike and features. For the beginner, there is not a bike out there that allows you to grow your skills without having to dump the bike for a different one when you get "bored."

Nice. This bike needs to be ridden. It is that awesome of a package. It is not a fast bike until it hits a track with a pro. SpiderMartin has a video vs a liter bike. Both bikes were running right at the track record. So it takes an expert rider to exploit full potential. Otherwise you would never know because the tune is that great at the lower rpms. So maybe 3 bikes in one! Great video!

Oh boy.. where do I start? 1st of all, that green KRT color with the yellow stripe looks amazing! Love how you can rev it to the moon.. and if you did not tune it, it would be severely under stressed, which equates to more reliability. I think if I was to make that purchase I would not tune it because I would probably get in too much trouble 😂 but the best part of all is the chiropractic scale ⚖️. 😂😂😂 Need that scale on more videos. Lol

My only reservation with this bike, is the welded subframe. If you have a somwhat minor incident, particuarly on a track day, a bent subframe could mean a totaing of the whole bike. A bolted on subframe would be a much better design. Other than that is a sweet little bike that is a bundle of fun.

I honestly want one of these so bad. The stock tune is ridiculous but flashed they're amazing for what they are. The only downside is price. I know you're getting a four cylinder but it's in the same price range or slightly higher than the Suzuki GSX8R, which gives you twice the engine even if it's in the form of a parallel twin. I dunno, it'd be hard to choose.

Whats difference between the zxr4r and the rr? And interesting the rpm is higher on this then the zx6r. But i see it is a 399cc engine but its a 4 cylinder not a twin cylinder so I see the appeal there

I think torque number might be vastly incorrect. I think torque is 25~ lb/ft with 55hp and 31~lb/ft with 77hp and not in 47-50lb/ft range.

Hm the zx4r doesnt have the bottle front brake fluid reservoir but the better zx6r does.. thats silly. I love the turn signals in the mirrors though I think the zx10 has it. I see people swapping them

..after an ECU FLASH, and FULL SYSTEM EXHUAST from TST... you'll have close to 80HP on a bike this light (around 400lbs wet) - I'm almost certain you won't get bored!
