@@iamabhinavsachan sunroof is actually a nightmare for someone who's living in India other than Himalayan region!! Temps are touching record highs everytime and here companies are giving this shit. Instead Kia can actually give us all adjustable headrests and rear washer, wiper and defogger as standard along with all essential safety equipment what they're offering. This car is definitely a head looker because of its quirky design. I kind of dislike it but it will grow on us as time passes but it is insanely loaded with features.

People need family friendly cars, if performance is what you need there are much better cars. This feels like a TUV/Bolero Neo segment but with FWD and good petrol engine along with a far more refined diesel engine as its counterparts while it offers quite a futuristic and luxurious cabin unlike the existing models in the segment. This feels more suitable for urban conditions and the customizable cabin space is going to be a game changer in the compact SUV segment. Enhanced Rear seat comfort and customization in the 10L segment is going to be landmark move and will cause ripples in even higher segments that usually ignore the Rear seating. Engine options are promising on the performance part and can be perfect for small families with MPV preferences. Carens Junior one may say! If a "special" Base variant costs around 10-11L on road, that is going to sell like hot cakes. (Right now the "good-for-nothing" TATA Punch costs that much)

The Exter was based on the i10 and hence measured only 3.8M. which meant it couldn't accommodate a 3rd row of seats. This car however is nearly 4M long and could be a 7 seater. That and the Diesel engine would have set it apart in the sub 4m MPV segment.

Design is subjective, some may love it, some may just hate it. But there is no doubt that space, features ‌‌‌are way better than any car in this segment and many cars in a segment above it. Being called WagonR XL or WagonR Next gen is not bad at all. WagonR is sold for its practicality and so will Syros be. It is excellently packaged and gives everything one wants from a 'single' car. I won't hesitate to buy it just because of its shape or looks. But having said all good about its practicality, I find two big problemes with it. 1. To me it looks like stretched Exter in a different shape. Note that how sitting position is low just like Exter and because of that car looks roomy and tall from inside. Driving position has same defect as Exter's. 2. Headlight and taillight placement is so bad, may be even called pathetic. That portion of any car - both front and rear, all over the world and particularly in India- gets scratched the moment car comes out of showroom (bit exaggerating it). Should we just keep getting the headlights and taillights replaced throughout the life it is with us? I guess I'll need to fix lesser number punctures in this car than the number of times its headlights and taillights will have to be replaced in ownership lifetime 😂

Design is too polarizing. Both front and back look a little too ‘funky’. Also a simple side collision or graze on the front will wreck the headlights. From the front this car looks like Tata Punch got mutated into something else. Feature rich car. I’ve driven the Venue N Line with the DCT and found the turbo lag to be too problematic in a crowded city like Mumbai. Great for highways but subpar for regular city commute
