I'm not sure if someone has already suggested this, but we have great luck hanging heavier artwork on our tile backsplash behind the cooktop using the larger Command Velcro Strips. The package will have the weight limits for the Velcro strips so you know what size to get. So far they have never let us down. Thanks for sharing your finds!

Just face it, some people can NEVER be happy! I’m 67 (going on 37😂) and I’ve never seen people be so mean. I watched a Dolly Parton movie and she says she takes down her Christmas on her birthday January 17. Hey, I might leave mine up until my birthday July 20😂😂 I’m assuming people do not understand that KZbin influencers have to be at least a month or more ahead. But, even in the retail stores, all the good Christmas decor was sold out by the end of October. So, it’s important you show us what’s new or beautiful so we can have a chance to go get it. Because by Thanksgiving, people it’s all gone! We, as the watching public, have the luxury of not finishing up our decorations until December 24-you don’t. Keep your chin up and you’re a great influencer, so just keep doing what you do!

I decorate for winter after Christmas is taken down! It’s my fav decor I have !! I actually went to dollar tree and hobby lobby yesterday & got valentines decor lol ❤ Figure if I don’t now - they’ll be gone! My dollar tree had Easter out so I got a bunny board that I’m going to use up against my cutting boards on my counter!

I always leave my Christmas stuff up until after New Years just to enjoy it a bit longer. I'm ready after that, it's starting to give me the ick looking at it now lol. Those bushes are called asparagus ferns and they are some of my favorites. I've only used the small command straps for picture in my bathroom, I'd be nervous to use them on that big picture.

I wish those who don’t have anything nice to say, would just say nothing at all, but that doesn’t seem to happen. You take your tree down when you’re ready,and they can do the same! I love that picture of the swans, as well as the Casaluna blanket! Next time I visit the U.S. (I’m in Canada) I’d like to pick one of those blankets up! I have good luck with Monkey hooks they will hang anything in dry wall & only make a small hole like a nail plus no luck with command hooks. You house is looking wonderful & the pic for the Dining Room is perfect

I'm not sure about the lamp, but if you like it, that is all that matters. I used the heavy-duty command strips to hang a heavy picture at my brother's. It is very secure and is still on the wall. The best way to hang pictures on drywall is to use plastic anchors. You can purchase them at Lowes, Walmart or a hardware store and they are very inexpensive.

I love watching home decor channels but try not to make my space a carbon copy of everyone else. It's nice to watch someone who is different. My sister is vintage; I am modern, and we can appreciate what the other has to offer and incorporate both when we shop together. I especially love the color of the Casaluna blanket you chose. I hate it when a beautiful cognac color is referred to as "orange". It is such a warm, inviting color, reminiscent of my apartment furniture in the 1980s. I have seen enough of boring beige and brown! Warming it up with touches of cognac looks rich IMO.
