So great to see Gyromy playing like he did in NZ in 2017, when he was hot off his USDGC win. I can hardly wait to ask him to re-sign the discs I grabbed right out of his bag back then. :) Terrific coverage, as always. Thank you to Luke, Paul, and the whole Go Throw crew.

So, what is the verdict on the Helix baskets? Do the players like them?
@DOPES4MAGAКүн бұрын
I've played on the old ones without the cross chains and they were good. Much better than the DD veteran baskets. Even Prodigy baskets make fun of Veteran baskets.
@liberateyourslackКүн бұрын
Players love them. Some aren't stoked on the aesthetic, most are though - and it's generally agreed that they catch very well. Tall Paul was saying on coverage at the last event that he has one in his backyard.
@seymourglass26Күн бұрын
@@liberateyourslack They're beautiful, so if they catch, I want to see them make the journey to America. I think it's hilarious that people don't like the aesthetic, because all the non-players I've shown think they're works of art.
@liberateyourslackКүн бұрын
@seymourglass26 there are a number of US courses that have them installed already, because they do catch well. Quite a number in Northern Europe too. RPM is scratching to meet demand at the moment. The Tour Down Under is a great shop window for the Helix and I hope that they continue to catch on overseas!

Go throw is great but the editors need to strip it up a little. I’ve noticed that the commentators animation and some of the score animations have not been correct. For instance, it says Nate Perkins and Juliana Kroger are doing the commentary here.

Love the course, love the players. With that said this coverage is not great. The camera work is bad, and Luke isn't even paying attention to fucking anything. Half of the shots we can't see, and most of the ones we do Luke doesn't know what the hell actually happened, but he needs to make sure we know how well he did. Paul did a great job though!
@DerekOfRiviaКүн бұрын
The helix basket seems great but it goes for over $400 USD per basket. Thats wild.
@payjames7935Күн бұрын
I agree with you if that was the price of a portable basket, but the course baskets for MVP are over $700, so it seems almost a bargain in this case.
@bobbytables1976Күн бұрын
That's what you'd pay for pretty much any other premium permanent basket. Chainstar Pro, Discatcher Pro and Mach X are all in the $500 range.
@aheadbeyond1974Күн бұрын
That’s less than most course and heavy duty baskets from Innova, DGA, and especially MVP
