@@michellechristensen8731 You never know, Pappy grew up in the Castle Hill area (which is Parra catchment) so his parents might still live there. But I doubt Pappy will move from the Storm unless the Storm don’t win the 2025 premiership (because I think he is a free agent as of Nov 1st 2025 but is allowed to start talking with other clubs now), I don’t see Pappy moving cos I heard he lives with his partner on the coast off Melbourne somewhere which is a while away from Melbourne CBD, meaning he likes his space away from the city and Sydney is constantly under media scrutiny unlike Melbourne. The Storm do have Sua Fa’alogo and the Storm do have a record of creating NRL hall of famers, apparently they have a ‘gentleman’s’ agreement (meaning if Pappy chooses to stay at Melbourne then he can look at other clubs)

@@michellechristensen8731 There’s even talks of Pappy going to the Bulldogs (which is my team) because apparently when he was growing up he supported the Dogs. Also Jason Ryles is the Head Coach at Parramatta now and Ryles was an assistant coach at the Storm while Pappy was there and they won that 2020 GF. So Pappy does have relations with Jason Ryles, meaning players want to play for coaches they have had experience with or heard great wraps on coaches from other players, it makes the players jobs that much easier when their coaches believe in them and have built rapport with them in the past. That’s why Burto, Kikau and Crichton all went to my Doggies because of Cam Curaldo already coaching them at the Panthers and the fact that they understand his defensive minded system and because of Gus Gould already being at the Panthers that helped mould their club into winning 4 premierships in a row

we can see as a parra fan that the eels a going for a fresh start which is what they need because having a lot of old player and needing to win a gf lol is what they need. I think if we get papi and put gutho as lock with simmonson and Lomax at wings with a potential of addo Carr swapping with lomax to make him centre would be so goooddddd

Parra do lose a lot of their points with Sivo going to the super league but he arguably let’s him more points then he scores due to how poor he is in defence so I wouldn’t really say he’s a loss.

Brandon ‘Cheese’ Smith (who plays with Terrell May at the Roosters) has spoken with May and said he thinks from speaking to May that May will either choose the Eels or Bulldogs to sign with (Cheese said this on the Bye Round podcast with James Graham, this week). I’m a doggies fan but I’ve heard Terrell just doesn’t ‘fit in culturally’ at the Roosters, even though he’s a gun player, one thing I’ve learnt with Gus Gould (our General Manager, who recruits players) he doesn’t just recruit off talent, he recruits off of passion for the game and commitment and hard work to grow as a player and we already spoke with Terrell earlier in the year and he chose to re-sign with the Roosters for 2 years. But I don’t understand the Roosters coming out saying he doesn’t fit their ‘culture’ and are dropping him, if that was the case why re-sign him for an extra 2 years only just to drop him!? I think it’s BS and they are just putting it back on Terrell about him and not the real fact that they want to clear up as much cap space as possible to sign Ben Hunt because Brandon Smith and Sam Walker are both injured and won’t be back until June 2025 (which is 4 months of regular season footy they will be missing out on lol… I hate the Roosters with a passion! They buy their premierships with their unlimited salary cap. Too bad they haven’t been able to beat the 2 top sides in the NRL for the past 5 years lol 😂😂😂 Goes to show Unlce Nicks ‘brown paper bags’ don’t work in today’s game! You’ve gotta have a system already ready and recruit players and mould them into stars/superstars) If I were Terrell I’d sign with the Dogs (and that’s not me being bias as a Dogs fan) he has more of an opportunity to play bigger minutes/be the alpha or one of the alpha’s of the forward pack (with us also recruiting Leo Thompson for the start of the 2026 season), Terrell has a better chance at winning a comp or multiple comps with the Dogs than the Eels or Tigers. But if what I hear is correct and Terrell doesn’t ‘culturally’ fit in, I’d sign with the Tigers for the money, they will pay overs for him whereas my Doggies won’t pay overs for him… now, until we sign him on a 2 yr deal and he can show us what he is made of and will work his backside off (during pre seasons and training) and lead our forward pack or be a voice in our forward pack
