Option B - I love a good all-in-one system.

I like option A. You've said in the past that you've wanted to lighten your bag. You can do that with option A more readily than the other options since you don't always have to take your journal with you.

Option B. It's just right.

B is just so lived in and everything you need in one place so I vote for that one.

I like option A, personally…it allows for some flexibility if you’re just running to the store or library and don’t want the Leuchtuurm you could have that stay at home for short errands…making option A very versatile. (And beautiful, too….although ALL of the options are lovely). :)

I'm forever in love with option B. The all in one always calls to me. I usually fall in the option A category, but im hoping to go for an option B set up myself.

C A5 size looks interesting. Maybe add another A5 that stays at home for your art and quotes.

I would vote for option A. I LOVE my journaling and I am a huge journal-er on the GO. My journals are a very small A-6 size in a leather, wallet TN. Because of it's portable size, my journal goes literally almost everywhere with me so I can write throughout the day. For 2025, I will be doing the same for my journaling. In the past, I have always carried a small planner too, but for 2025, I am going to try to use a larger, classic planner from Happy Planner (re dated from one I bought previously and barely used) and just leave that at home for keeping track of my plans and special events. I just can't do bulk when it comes to carrying stuff around. Option A was your simplest possibility, so I loved that one. I have a Newestor leather , wallet cover for my journal and I do love it....but I'm intrigued about Apple Pig's cover's. I would love to get a few covers in different colors to be able to change them up. So as money allows, I might try and order from him!

Definitely Option B

For sure Option B as I am awaiting delivery of my Apple Pig Leather notebook as we speak thanks to watching one of your previous videos!😂I am also determined to use my Hobonichi A5 however and I employ a separate hard cover leather notebook that was gifted to me by my son who purchased it at a well known stationers in London and monogrammed with my initials- so very special . Help me to juggle all of these! Oh and a book diary as well 😅

The paper of C is my favorite, though for ease of use (portability) B is superior. Thanks for letting us weigh in- whichever you pick will work lovely for planning and journaling. I appreciate your videos, thank you for sharing.

Thank you for watching! And I’ve also had luck cutting a half-year Stalogy to fit in Option B, so that might be another possibility.

They are all lovely, but there is something about option C that is pulling me in. ❤

I like Options B and C because they’re all in one place. Maybe B has the edge due to the fact that it’s more compact and portable. So yes Option B.

I would ended up leaving C at home because of the weight. You have inspired me to try option A for 2025.

I hope you enjoy it! Yes, the weight ... sigh. I really like having more room in my weekly pages, but my back will likely get upset with me.

Option C bcos I love the stalogy and i'd need the space of an A5 for journaling.
@sarah-janefoster66335 күн бұрын
I will always vote for your standard naughty fox TN, as I think it is beautiful and easier to carry than your A5 TN ❤

It really is pretty, isn’t it? Ting is amazing!
@sarah-janefoster66335 күн бұрын
@KeyLimeInk if I could afford Ting's designs I would buy them instantly. Instead I have a standard 4 string amazon TN which is also nice to use.

Love option B
@laurameszaros95474 күн бұрын
Definitely A5, despite the heft that you describe, which is the only downside. It can be uncomfortable to carry around, especially when carrying other stuff as well, but I find I miss so much by not having it that I put up with the weight and over time have come to forget about it, most of the time, at any rate. The benefits of A5 far outweigh the one disadvantage IMO.

Option C

How about all three? My pick is B. Blessings
@thegoatgirlcr3 күн бұрын
A because that's what you've used in the past, which is mindful of your daily carrying weight limit. Idea if it's voted for C - would you be able to use the half Stalogy notebooks instead of the full ones? It would cut down on the weight total🥰
@OldWhistler77435 күн бұрын
I was going to say option B until you spoke about the weight, and option B does have quite a few things in there. And you take your planner/list one with you as a daily carry/wallet. So I now suggest option A, because you have a good sized notebook with nice sized pages for your watercolour which can stay at home and not add to the weight in your bag. Meanwhile you would have your TN with you as a wallet and have the inserts with you that you like to carry around.
@KeyLimeInk5 күн бұрын
I like this “best of both worlds” option, too. I still have a few weeks to decide!
@OldWhistler77435 күн бұрын
@ I think when I start travelling around again after the winter I’ll take a couple of inserts out of my TN to make it lighter, just leave my travel insert, monthly planner and daily inserts and zipper pocket. 😀

I would use option B. I carry my journal everywhere and to have multiple books wouldn’t work in my situation. I want everything in one place.

option B
@tuomi11543 күн бұрын
In option C, could you use a thinner notebook for the weeklies?
@KeyLimeInk3 күн бұрын
Yes, technically! In my experience, the key with TNs is to have roughly the same thickness for each notebook. They open and close better that way without bumps near the spines as you're writing. So, I could do a half-year Stalogy for the planner and a half-year Stalogy for the journal. That would help with weight. Or, I could use several thinner TN inserts like A5 Muji planners along with A5 Wanderings inserts for journaling. Lots of options there! Thanks for reminding me.

If the weight is the biggest con, I would try different set ups trying to get the weight down.
