2025 Planner And Journal Lineup - How I'm Going To Use My Hobonichi Planners

I picked up a Cousin this year as main planner and journaling & I loved it so much. I decided for branch out, so I got another Cousin for the same purpose, a weekly for my household (meal planning and finances mostly), a weekly mega as common place, a techo for my reading journal that I’ve set up to last me 4 years and a 2024 a6 HON for my recipe book. It will be great to have my most used recipes in one place.

I went with a cousin for planning and journaling (I use every square inch of it), an A6 Hon for Health journal…record meals and bloodwork (old person here), 2 weeks, one as an everyday carry and one as a financial planner. I want to take my finances out of my cousin in case I ever want to show my cousin on YT or IG or an informative journaling session at the library. Currently, for saving challenges and other money actions I use an A5 Memo book, which works well, but there were so many gorgeous weeks this year, I figured I’d try the weeks. We’ll see. I’m glad I’ll take my spending out of the cousin. Everything to do with money will be in one place now. Lots of changes for 2025, but the Cousin is the mothership. Lol great video!

I love your system plans! I definitely like having somewhere separate for finances it just makes it easier especially for sharing. I’m in a weird spot where I don’t really mind sharing my finances but I’m more just weary about can happen to information that’s been put on the internet. I love that you love your cousin as much as I love mine! Even if everything else changes - the cousin is ye old faithful. I also love the idea of a health journal. I need somewhere to track my health stuff too but I’ve been putting off thinking about it because it feels too daunting. I may have to consider an a6. @@AliciaUstina You’re welcome. I’m Vegan so I like to track my menu items to make sure things are balanced. Also, it’s interesting to see how many sweets are in your diet. I go in spurts- sometimes I eat a lot of dessert type food and other times not much at all. I don’t count calories. It’s nice also if you want to record steps or workouts.

Quite a lovely set-up! I absolutely adore the Spy x Family collection too 😭💖 and the part on being burnt out on Journaling is so true, and finding time in the morning to journal is also relatable, we have a similar sleep schedule and it's truly a struggle 😂 looking forward to the next videos!

Thank you so much! It’s the sweetest collection in my opinion! My favourite of all their anime releases that they’ve done. I’m so happy it was widely available and not an exclusive. I keep telling myself I’ll fix my sleep and journal in the morning but I’m yet to action yet. Perhaps I’ll make that a goal for next year 😂

Thank you for watching! I used to LOVE ring planners - that's actually what started my love for planners in the first place but I haven't touched one in a few years. I do miss them though. Maybe I'll have to set one up just for fun and see if I get any use out of it. I love the sound of your lineup - sounds really functional :)

Have you had any problems with your Spy X Family cover being in the cover on cover? I want to put mine in one so bad but I’m scared. LOL

No problems so far at all! I live in a relatively temperate climate (minimum 10 degrees Celsius maximum around 45 degrees Celsius) so I think that helps. The only problem I can see arising over time is MAYBE the gold will flake off or begin to wear off since it’s a slightly raised surface but honestly so far no problems 😊
