I think you both did very well despite the setbacks. I also had lots of plans which had to be shelved due to ill health, so I know how it feels. Now that I've had the operations, my health is improving and I'm able to start making plans again. Onwards and upwards! Hope 2025 is better than 2024 for everyone. Happy new year!

Your Writing Shed is a fabulous idea!! This past fall, my husband built me a "She Shed". It is 6 feet x 12 feet and half garden shed and half painting studio. It's a beautiful insulated, finished and furnished place for me to get away from all the noise in my life and loose myself in my work. Do it! You will be So glad you did ❤

Great episode guys - looking forward to spending time with you (virtually!), during 2025. As an aside, my back was so bad a few years ago that I could barely walk and the kerb was insurmountable when I was starting to recover. Now, my wife and I have just finished a house build where I was lifting all sorts and digging "boulders" out of the ground. So, give it time, do your core exercises and stay positive - the back is amazing at repairing itself. Greetings from an Arctic Lake District (lord knows what it's like where you are this week!).

We had a ford ranger, Hubby loved it lots of separated space, we had 6 dogs at the time and it was ideal, you just need a roof tent and you can drive around the country, having fun, here's to 2025, let's hope it will be a good one thanks for sharing the good bits and helping us to understand and listen to the sad, the chickens😢 and working through the pain, the crap GP, rogue surgeon and then sharing your health turning round and feeling better plus the cherry on the top, the book, made me blush 😂 and have a hot flush or 5. You need to prioritise the writing shed, we need book 2 so the reader who got her knickers in a knot to read and send another letter, take care fellas, enjoy new years eve, if that's your thing and I look forward to 2025 xx😊

Hope you have a happier new year than 2024. Why don't you convert the train barn into a studio and get a 40ft old refrigerated container as a train barn .This would allow you better damp and humidity control for your layout. I have just finished converting 2 containers into unit for my son a and the temp stability is very good which would give you need for your layout. Andy qld Australia
