2025 Plans!

Great plans. I have been working on my plans for 2025. I think I’ve got it about set. I’m going to be 78 next week and one goal is to spend 6 hours on 78 wips in my 78th year. I’m going to make a tape every Sunday just to keep me accountable and to see how I do. I just found a whole tub of counted canvas work that I want to incorporate now. I should never started to sort my storage room. Oh well. Good luck to both of us.

I will join y’all for the library stitch-a-long. I’ll be doing McGonagall’s library. I love Snape’s Library, but the warm morning glow in McGonagall’s library is what attracts me the most to that piece.

Yay! I love plans videos. Great idea to have a wheel that has the pieces not already focused on. And then a wheel with all of them. I hadn't thought of that. Why limit to just one wheel??!?! : ) Thank you for sharing!

Fun! I like the temperature stitching plans but I’m not sure how that would work for me. I have a hard time maintaining multiple WIPs per day, and I already have one I’d like to try to finish next year by making it a daily 100. Food for thought, though! Maybe if I use family/special pieces for those, I could give them 30 minutes when they come up and free up my Mon/Tues rotation for other pieces. 🤔

I like the temperature idea! I have pieces I want to finish next year, so I think I'm done playing games for a while, as much as I love the challenge. And yes, the darker stitch goes on the bottom and the lighter on the top. They shadow nicely. Glad you like the idea! Also working on God Shed His Grace by Artecy. It's so beautiful!

Sounds like some good structured plans without going too crazy! The only certainty I have for 2025 at this point is that mini Sea Opal will be my focus full coverage. A long way to go as I’m only at 28% but it’ll be manageable.

Oh I love plans and Starts! Leann, I need that wheel too, where did you get one which offers more than 20 option? I have so many WIPs that they won't fit on any "free" version of a wheel and I need one for the next year for myself. 🌹🌹🌹

Thanks for putting this out! It has given me some serious ideas for what I might want to do next year. The temperature projects are such a cool idea! And then the 2 weeks per project I think I’ll do with my WIPGO board that I have yet to create. Or I might do a certain number of stitches…I’m not sure yet. I really love some of your new starts coming up! I might have to start the sunflower one when the rest of you do next summer. I think I saw it was Artery? Do you know where from?

Yes the sunflower inn is from Artecy, the have 2 different sizes! I’m so excited for all the things next year!!!
