🐈‍⬛️ loving your setup! Great use for that 8x8. Can I ask about your process for keeping your journal updated? This was my first year doing one and the updates are fun but time consuming and I always picked reading time over journaling time so now I'm scrambling to get it updated before year end because I do really enjoy having a physical book journal. Do you update it every time you finish a book or on a timed cadence (weekly, monthly, etc.)?

I've done a really bad job of keeping up to date with mine these last couple of months, but what I was doing was taking part of my Saturday morning and updating it. I use Storygraph too, which is easier to update on the fly, so I reference that when updating. Lately it's been monthly and I haven't been doing as many individual book spreads and just updating the yearly tracker stuff. This year I'm hoping to be more intentional with which books I dedicate full pages to and have part of the beginning of the month sections be fore which books I finish.

@ they are subdivided into series and each tells a complete story, so it is not as intimidating as it might seem! There are 4 trilogies, 1 tetralogy and a prequel novella.
