This came out so well! I like the idea of setting the goal quite low too, I don't think it's cheating at all!

I love your 2025 reading journal. I'm going with a witchy vibe this year too and my reason I decided to check out your video, new to your channel. ☺

Love it so much! I'm so behind on filling in spreads for my 2024 journal 😫

I love the frames. I may steal that someday! Love your aesthetic! I usually shoot pretty high for a reading goal because I don't want to run out of room on the pages I allotted in my journal. I'd rather them not be filled out than have to Frankenstein it somehow to fit them all in. ETA: The genre cusp really gets me, too. I did a subgenre bingo-type page this year mostly to map out how genres overlap. It is quite imperfect, but I think it will make me more familiar with the nuance to maybe better answer that question in the future.

LOVE your reading journal!!! And watching your calligraphy is so satisfying (I need that pen!) 🖋️ The frame layout is really cool. What if you doodled an element from each story into the frame? I’ve used a reading journal for years, but I just started journaling my reads in 2024. It’s my new favorite hobby! My 2025 setup is my favorite journal I’ve made. I am so inspired by the creative community of journalers here on KZbin. Subscribed! Excited to see more 🖤

I'm starting a reading journal for 2025, I've been tracking the books I've read during 2024 in another journal but this time I have an entire reading journal. I'll be doing 25 books in 2025, book bingo, series tracker, DNF-tracker, books bought. I don't do reviews on the books I read but I like to track them with covers so this time I'm tracking them in 4 quarters. And no, I don't see that as cheating (as I do the same, but schhhhh ^^)

not doing a full on reading journal this year, just keeping track of the books i have read ie title, author, pages

In the past I've read a little over 250 books a year, but I'm setting my goal at 200 since I plan to delve into some fantasy series (possibly ACOTAR, but I was to get into John Gwynne and Brandon Sanderson in 2025) in the new year and those books are chunky 500+ easy so I might not get through as many books as I've been able to in the last ten years or so. I am doing a reading journal, but it's not as creative/artsy as most people's. I'm actually using a Sterling Ink N1 I had an extra of. The quarterly section is used to track book releases, the monthly calendar is where I have a quick view of the books I've read per month, I'm using the weekly spread more like notes pages and so far I have a series tracker and I may add any challenges I'm interested in participating in throughout the year, finally the blank pages in the back track my monthly statistics as well as mythoughts on the books I've read that are 200 pages or more.
