So glad you mentioned the reasoning for lofts getting stronger and how launch and land angle stay similar….I never quite understood why reviewers were complaining about a 7i going 170+ while it still landed softly..I don’t know how many times i asked why not just club down to an 8i to get the old 155-160 7i distance ,?, which would be more controlled than the old 7i with more stopping (landing angle etc) …..and maybe one time i was told yeah i guess you could, ….with no explanation of why it was a negative for hitting clubs longer with same stop/roll out ..🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️✌️👍🏼

I cant even hit a 7w😂…but i can hit a 5,4,3i most swings …back in the early 2000’s i tried a cheap 4 hybrid ,i could make good contact but it elevated my slice quite a bit ….that 4h Is probably still in my closet bag of rejected/old clubs , maybe ill try it again 🤷🏼‍♂️👍🏼✌️

I really enjoy your reviews as my swing speed is very similar to yours. (Of course you are way more consistent!). I look at other reviewers but most of them are younger males with 105+ driver swing speed. Keep up the great work!

So these sit above the apex ai line, they are designed to be more forgiving and longer. Definitely go further, head shape is slightly bigger to add that forgiveness.

They perform no doubt, even the HL version with weaker lofts can reach out there...according to several reviews I've seen. I like the silver and small black letters, they're game improvement irons but they don't look the part at least in the bag, if anything to me they look a bit like the older X Forged. That's a good thing too.

Have you ever reduced the offset on clubs? Could these been used by you if the offset and loft was less. Í m playing T100s now. Considering these if I can get less offset/loft

You can change the loft but not really the offset

If you add loft, you reduce offset. Look at an iron and imagine bending it to add loft, the offset has to reduce. And vice versa.
