Music Barrel v2.1.0 (by Xevyr) adds some much needed noise around bars, that the new tavern feature is missing. Makes them sound alive!

I think it's funny that my top choices tend to be how the game looks - including character customization, followed closely by those that eradicate a games tedious tendencies - quality of life. Excellent mod list!! Mod authors/makers are doing so much to keep me playing! Maps like Savage Wild and Isle of Men really gives us so much to explore. Age of Calamitous even gives us High Fantasy spells! MY Honorable mention would be TOT! Custom.

Thanks for detailed breakdown. Will relook IQoL once the issue re PIPPI Thespians is sorted. Am looking at added 'Akuba's Salon' - thanks for suggesting (still thinking about BB). 'Immersive Armour'? Any admin not wanting a riot on their hands will have this excellent mod already (thank you Testerle for the original) PIPPI? Well, of course. Front and centre - one mod to rule them all and, I think, the original Admin mod without which many would never have even thought of being an Admin.

Such a good video for new players. These mods are great because they don't really change the underlying game, just the aesthetics and some quality of life functionality for the most part. Also, as someone with about 2,500 hours in conan, most of that being modded and running my servers, including with IQOL, I've never seen that UI that you popped up at 2:57. How did you access that?

@@Anabriella Awesome! Thank you. Also, if Fashionist ever stops working, another similar mod, although not as robust, is Outfit Manager. It doesn't really transmog. It just makes you appear to be wearing whatever outfit you want to choose from the game (including any provided by mods). Even if you are completely naked, you can appear to be wearing clothes. I've started using this on my thralls so that I can individualize each of them without having to actually craft all of the other armor sets to place on the fashionist armor stand. It got to the point that I had to have several chests full of extra armor sets next to my fashionist armor stand that were just being wasted.

I'd say that if you liked the Age of Sorcery would like more spells and things to do as a sorcerer, then check out the Ancient Sorcery mod.

This was kind of so needed. I came back to the game after being away from it for a few years and this helps. because the quality of life one lets me change my name.. I kind of made her while smashed drunk so a screwed the spelling of her hame, and made her so muscular she looks lika a walking rock. Thank you!

For me its High heel system for cool heels that affect your height and Pause on escape so I can pause the game anytime like other survival games in single player mode!

I recently discovered TOT! Custom ... guess it's a decent replacement for transmogs and even more character editing features. Even though transmogging armor isn't as fast via the inventory and you can transmog your armor into everything the game offers, you don't have to have it in your inventory afaik.

@@traxbenz6815 Just for completion: Visual Scripting support made it possible to setup custom Quests on my server too, so a replacement for Mushi is there too. Works nice and clean.

Two quick questions, if you have chance, and time. 1. What is the outfiut you are wearing in this mod? 6:40. I have been looking for some "legging" that can be dyed. What are these called please. 2. Do you have any idea of a mod that can change the look of Freya, and Liu Fei, I am yet to start the quests. Just retuning due to AoH. Can they be changed like Thralls? Thanks for any help.

Liu Fei and Freya will be your thralls after you complete their quest lines - so you can dress them how you want after they become your followers, and you can use IQoL mod to change their appearance if you like! The outfit pieces are from Immersive armor - I'll check the names and edit this next time I log in. Thanks for watching!

I just wish I knew a body mod that both works well with IQOL and fits most armors. Right now I'm using Aquillonian but it has bugs and is limited in what you can wear.

With all of Testerles' mods going end of life; are there good replacements for Fashionist, Better Thralls, and Unlock Plus? I'm a newer player to Conan and if you look through Steam Workshop and KZbin videos for the last 2+ years those mods are listed repeatedly; as great and must haves but will likely stop working in the future.

Man mods on console would reignite the game for Xbox console players! -There's a reason why Skyrim is still one of the most played single player games EVEN NOW, and I predict S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 to have some added longevity thanks to console mod support too 👌 A penguin can dream 🐧💭🐟. . .

You aren't wrong. Mods are what gives the game longevity. It keeps interest high and some can be game changing in a very real sense. It's a huge missed opportunity.

If it only would be the character and thrall creation perhaps but even then it blocks normal coloring of original armor, which is a no-go for me. An you are forced to install a bunch of other things and even other mods just to run this mod. I don't like that.

@@Lost_Elfgirl I don't mean that in a bad way and it's not an attack, but it really doesn't describe !Tot. I don't know if it was a bug or something similar in your case, but Tot! doesn't overwrite any of the original colour tone, at least not that I'm aware of. Just the fact what is possible with Tot apart from the ‘simple’ character customisation (I'm just saying to edit and move armour/weapons/accessories and to enlarge and reduce them at will including easy loading of dozens of presets and even body section related placements). With all due respect, this doesn't even begin to describe !Tot Custom. This is not an advert and yes, you need a few more mods, but the only downside is that it doesn't work in single player. But I bought a server just because of Tot. It's incredible what his mods can do. IQOL in all honour, I used it for a long time and was forced to switch because of bugs and was almost overwhelmed by what else is possible with !Tot Custom.

Also to add. Why isn't Tot Custom on this list? It literally changes the game in insane ways. Surely if you're going to put Fashionist in Honorable Mentions which is 1/10th as good as Custom you'd surely add this as a must have mod in 2024.

with Better Thralls, Fashionist and Unlocks Plus on their last legs I'm tempted to give up on Conan now and leave, intending to spend the remainder of my days cosplaying as a small goat, on a hillside in Nepal. ....If Emberlight ever stops being updated I'm going to learn how to create nuclear weapons and begin to threaten people...

the loss of these mods might be the mortal blow to the game for a lot of people which is sad. Wish they'd just leave it as is and not break it anymore. But the bazaar mtx must flow apparently.

Just use Tots mods. They have all of these functionalities but 1000x better than the mods you've described. The reason they're no longer being updated is they are obsolete compared to his amazing work and so these modders gave up working because they couldn't compete.

​@@ruggedred this post was largely in reference to the extremely broken living settlements feature that was just added and was causing rare crafter thralls to just permenantly vanish but apparently they just fixed it. rare crafters permanently disappearing is indeed a game breaking bug. some of those thralls are so hard to find, they rarely ever spawn. crafters are an integral part of the game that are required to make any meaningful progression
