No doubt, it’s a beautiful coin. 🥳. But I’m not convinced that it should be called a sovereign 🙏. Your camera brought out the beauty of the proof quality 🥳. Thanks J🙋🏻♂️

Hi Jamie. I'm with you... Sovereigns are gold not silver. But I'm a sucker for shiny thing 🤣 I was surprised a couple of years ago when Isle of Man and Gibraltar had their first "silver sovereigns", and they didn't have the Pistrucci design either!! Cheers.

Onya Les. Your bet paid off (I mean the aftermarket prices). I still wouldn't have bought one. Hah. But as I say, it's a fun thing. And there seems to be a euphoria around coin releases again. See the US flowing hair as well.

Hiya!! It's bought now for collecting purposes, but the good side effect is it will make money in a few years, even if silver prices go back down. Limited mintage = profit in years to come (maybe even be my retirement fund!). Cheers.

For what it is, it is expensive, but I like silver.

Les coins, why do british people collect 50p’s and £2, they are great coins, but i want to know the reason

Good question. Not sure to be honest. It may be case of collecting them in case they are low mintage, so become hard to get, or like me, to compete a year run or ensure I have 1 of each issued... others treat them like Pokemon - gotta buy 'em all 🤣
