If there are rare earth metals in the EV engines, I don’t know about it but I’m not an engineer. I doubt there was anything in electric motors than iron, aluminum, copper, and shellac when I was a kid and took them apart. There is a lot of rare earth metal in the batteries. Lithium.

And, back to reality, that 23k car is constructed in such a way as to be a very expensive insured vehicle. Much like the Rivian offerings that have astronomical insurance quotes for minor dents. I'm wondering if tesla insurance will be needed?

Low cost in big volume ? is it the Cybercab ? since TESLA announced the cybercab i dont think the model 2 even exist. I think IT IS the lower cost vehicule. Hope i m wrong.

SMALL AND SMART. Make the rear hatch 50 in wide so I can get plywood in it. Don’t need a cyber truck. Don’t want AC, FSD, E INTERNET CONNECTION, PEARL PAINT, TEN SPEAKERS FULL OF NEODYMIUM, TWO DOORS. NO MOON ROOF, NO MOTOR IN THE REAR HATCH. I HAVE ARMS AND CAN CLOSE IT MYSELF. GUESS IM A BETTER DESIGNER THAN JB and Hans, no screen, gages only, no e brake so if battery dies. God help us greedy humans….look at the TOYOTA YARUS, 2007 to 2018. yarus . Don’t tapper the rear end body. Cut the unnecessary motors for seats, windows, mirrors, no wiring in doors. Wake up. THERE I JUST CUT 100 pounds….guess I’m smarter than u guys.

Study the Toyota Yaris in 2007 and 2018 make the back less less less like a shark. I want a little room. Just put500 pounds of bricks in the back of my TESLA 4 U, we took out the rear seat and designed it to be removed . We love the room. When was the last time u had people in the rear seat. I’m 60. Why the fuc.ing 4 doos ????? Cut cost here. If u can’t move the front seat ford to get in the back thseat n f u. God is laughing at u myopic engineers…..h wants to meet u….. I’ll work for free. Please point out any possible safety issue. I teach extrication as a competent firefighter for 18 years. I teach NCA and LFP and all that battery stuff. And safety ideas. All our ideas are kill he childish crap. An e brake should all be mechanical. Same with doors. A 50 inch rear hatch with NO MOTORS is safer than? I don’t need lane assist. Never, never never needed it.. but us humans, as weak as we are, will default to the extremes of , well it’s a safety issue. Prove it. The car payment people have leads to them wanting to kill themselves. Repairs also. What about the trauma this causes down steam?….the extra stress causes bad and lazy side affects ….come to skaneateles and well show u our Tesla 4U. It has 2 doors. The charging port is in the back where Tesla puts it. U say nothing about the EVs that have the port in the left fender, rivian, hummer ford, they are idiots. How can us stupid fire people do a save dash displacement when cutting a patient out of a front end crash with power lines so close….WHY MAKE OUR JOBS HARDER? Come to skaneateles ny. We are not poor and we would buy a 4U two door,no ac, etc., EV with 400 range. God is laughing.
