Given some pro's still use a 2017 design, I would simply conclude, it may be different, not better.

Everyone is different. Some Pro's will love it, and some will stay with what they have but with this new ball there are already 60 players so far making the switch.

Correct me if I'm wrong ,however, if you're not using the RCT ball, all Trackman spin rates are an estimate (even though I don't seem them in italics on the screen). The most accurate spin rates should be from a GC Quad which is camera based, not radar like the Trackman. I gave up using the TP5X when the spin rates went up in '21. Swapped out for the left dash PV1X. Super ball for me. And spin rates off the driver face are virtually negligable between all Titleist Pro V balls. Play the right ball for your iron game and the driver is what it is. Thanks for the comparisions.

Yeah, there are not any RCT balls available right now in the new Pro V1s but Trackman gives us a gauge of how they differ. Unfortunately, we don't have access to a GCQuad as the ball data is really good, especially for indoor testing. But we will be doing on course testing when the weather picks back up.

I like the feel of the TP5 Does the ProV1 feel like an overpriced 3 piece ball to you?

I’d like to see these compared to Chrome Tour and Tour X

That is something we will be doing in the near future.

Did you find the sound and feel of the 2025 X is different or softer than 2023?
@bunkeredСағат бұрын
It felt fairly similar

Looks like the things they said they changed between the 2023 and 2025 models held up in your testing. Why don't you cover the hole in your simulator screen with some white tape? 😜

It is being replaced soon, hopefully.

Nice review but there is something incorrect with your numbers, never in a million years does the 23 Pro V1x produce 5 mph faster ball speed than the 23 Pro V1 because if that was true then 100% of tour players would have been playing the 23 Pro V1x which is not the case , I have tested both balls extensively myself and with several elite golfers and the ball speed differences between the 23 balls is minimal.

The Pro V1 was hit first at the start of testing, and the Pro V1x was later, which is why there will be different ball speeds between Pro V1 and Pro V1x.
