The 2026 will probably be redesigned and hybrid only. In my opinion the 2025 XLE premium is the best value for the money. Nice review. Thanks !!

Same here. But can we really wait another year? Plus there will be a small price hike becuase it's a new model. They only major differences that I predict/want is the gen 5 hybrid engine & hopefully better interior. Real leather and not the cheap pleather.

The new RAV4 will be all hybrid the same as the Camry.. so if you want and all gas version you better buy one before they change.

2024 and 2025 models are still recommended to buy because they literally have zero issues. All issues were squared away with previous models. 2026 will definitely have few small issues.

Getting the last year of a generation is a smart idea. This will be the best of Gen 5. My 2012 was the last year of gen 3. By the seventh year the bugs have all been worked out.

Nice video. I just picked up My 2025 RAV4 LE gas. It has a key, radio and AC. My first new Standard shift Corolla did not come with a radio or AC lol. I’m in my 60’s now and wanted AC and a radio. I made my 12 km review and showed a pic of our 2015 Rav which still looks brand new. I plan on doing another car review in 2035 when I purchase my next Rav … if I’m still alive.

It is quite literally the same car as the 2024 version. Not sure about this whole "masterpiece" business considering it's the same car with little to no change. I'd hold off until the 2026 redesign, just to see what that's like.

What kept me from buying a RAV 4 is it dose not come with Remote Start on the Key Fob you haft to buy an App from Toyota and down load it on your phone and it will cost you 15 $ a month that will cost you 180 $ a year to have remote start NO THANKS !!!!!!!!

The redesigned 2026 RAV4 will all hybrid.. You will need to buy one of the previous generation if you want to avoid a hybrid which will not last as long in the long run without expensive repair.

@Gopinathk17 Not long enough in comparison to the models before without having to pay for a $5,000 Plus hybrid Battery. Those vehicles will have a low resale when they get 100,000 and up.. Too much of a Gamble.. EV vehicles become worthless as they age.. anything 8 years old and older is junk value../@Scrap

@@charlesjackson1700 not sure where are you getting your data, this is simply not true. there are no indications that a hybrid drive is less reliable than a normal one. in fact, it should be more reliable due to less moving parts overall. fwiw i have a toyota auris 1.8 hybrid from 2017. over 250k km on it, 0 defects. and i did road trips of 5-7k km in one go with that car.

You didn't notice? Most taxis on the road in recent times are Toyota hybrids! They are not running Toyotas because they like the colour choices, it's because they last longer and are the most economical vehicles on the road. Batteries don't need replacing as often as you think, and the savings at the pump accrue with each fill.
