I bought the Trident the first day it came out here in Texas, and although I traded it in for my XSR900, I still miss the whirls and whooshes from that 3cyl 660 powertrain. It is the perfect urban commuter that can be a blast in the twisties.

I have a 2022, which was the first model year. Just had my 32,000 km service a few months ago, which was the first one for the dealership. The bike is a blast! Triumph seems kind enough to make mine a collectors item as i have the matte black tank.

I have the same model year. In total agreement with you. This bike is a joy to ride, and I find far more comfortable than its critics say it is.

How many miles ( or kilometers) it goes per liter of gas? How about the fuel tank capacity? Is this bike just to have pleasure or fun? For me what makes a bike great is it’s versatility. I do not see this bike being the choice for a very wide range of consumers. But O could be wrong.

Unless i missed it, it now has a sport mode, which negates the lazy throttle, some folks moaned about, i have a 1st gen model, never bothered me, just gave it beans! Thank you for the video. 👍

That's right mate, it does have a Sport mode now. I forgot to mention that, though I never had a problem with the throttle anyway. Thanks so much for your support!

can the cruise control be equipped to 2023 model
@TheDarkness_9227 күн бұрын
unfortunately not, the electronics are not prepared for that. I already was in contact with Triumph regarding this topic.

I'm torn between the 2025 Trident 660 and the 2025 Yamaha XSR900. I think you get a lot on the Yamaha for the extra $2500 but the Triumph just looks great.

Tough call mate. Both grouse things.

I traded my XSR900 for the 2024 Street Triple 765, no regrets. I considered the 2024 Trident st the time and had I been aware of the improvements may have opted for the 2025 instead.

@@stevelamotte5505 If I was 25 years younger I would swing a leg over the street triple rs. I'm just concerned about the non adjustable suspension on the trident.

@@bobcooke1820I’m 63 and was planning on downsizing to the Trident 660. I found the 2024 version a little underwhelming coming off the XSR900. The Street Triple R was so much more bike and was less money. The seating position is slightly more aggressive but the suspension is so much smoother. it was a no brainer.The changes to the 2025 Trident are intriguing but still not in the same league as the Street Triple R.

@@stevelamotte5505 My back and knees won't do the street triple. it would be a great second bike to blast around on for a hour of two.
