That's such a great point: "Tier lists are for casuals." It’s so true. Beginners need a guide to figure out which Warframes are good comfort picks. Warframe’s all about grinding and managing resources, so wasting time and effort on frames that can’t hold their own just doesn’t make sense until you’ve got the hang of build crafting and the finer details and until you're at a point that tier lists, for you at least, won't even matter anymore. Anyone saying otherwise is probably one of those 10k-hour sweaties.

I mean I'm a main of that character and even I can understand there's a fair point. Man to can do infinite scaling damage if I'm in the open area. In my second ability is utterly useless and no one can fight me on that. 3 is always bugged after some updates. One thing I can say for certain is she is not as versatile. Defense and survivals are mainly the thing that you see her more in than anything. Unless you're using the three for mobility so to say that she's b tier isn't far-fetched

Gauss Is the masterpiece of Warframe. Perfect synergies of all his abilities and the way they interconnect with each other. I never gave him an helminth, because he's perfect the way he is designed. The thing is, stuff that would have been considered S tier a few years ago still works just as well, it's just that the game has changed and the player has access to much more powerful options now, so the old cheese frames aren't as relevant any more. Most of the comments complaining about the ranking are from people that don't have a full understanding of the game's mechanics, since this tier list is like 90% objectively true, there's not that much opinion involved.

Glad to see Voruna getting the love. It's a shame her coolest ability is also her worst ability, but if you put either Roar or Kullervo's ability over her 4 and she becomes even more of a Melee Goddess with Equilibrium. My favorite Warframe by far and heavily underrated IMO.

People need to understand that tier list =/= to having fun playing a Warframe. Many Warframes can be trash tier and you can still enjoy playing them, or maining them. Tier list just means if you pick one of the higher ones on the list, you'd be able to perform specific actions easier or faster. Be it being tanky, mobile, nuker, buffer, etc... So play whatever the heck you like. No need to be salty at this.

I just joined and honestly I'm just glad to see all of the starter frames seem really good. I was worried when I saw the sheer amount of frames that power creep over the years would mean all the older frames would be obsolete, that or that the game would be p2w. I'm glad I was wrong. I'm also very happy to know that I made a good choice with Mag. How to mod Garuda in 8 mods. 1. Primed flow 2. Blind rage 3. Quick thinking 4. Overextended 5. Umbral fiber 6. Umbral intensify 7. Adaptation 8. Continuity. Steel charge in aura ofc. No exilus needed. Arcanes r molt augmented and molt reconstruct. Use 3 casting yellow shard. Molt reconstruct is really good for healing use any helmith on Garudas 2nd ability. For me, Nova after the rework is a S tier without any doubts, she can damage boost weapons, massive damage with the 2 ability, with the null stars argument, if you use her 4th ability it doesn't matter if you or your teammates kill the enemies, you regenerate the stars, so cast 1 and 4 and you are pretty immortal (actually really immortal, 90% damage reduction it's enough to shield gate the big hits) just cause your teammates kill everything, slows down or speeds up enemies as u need, also synergies perfectly with the meta Corrosive Blast Torid Incaronon, get the Vastilok or the Unairu Focus you have armor strip if you need it as well, I see her as an all in one warframe. With a bit more investment, with 2 green archons to get +4 max corrosive stacks, you have armor strip on the Torid, use Madurai as focus and Harmony as melee and you delete any boss or tough enemy from the map instantly.

How is Oberon C tier with helminth, whilst a frame that can do practically anything Oberon can do but better, Qorvex, is D tier with helminth? Qorvex can actually make use of his armor strip, in addition to it grouping up enemies. Oberon's 5 second cast time stationary single use armor strip that costs 150 energy, doesn't even work on half of the enemies it's used on, because it's been bugged for like 5 years now.

Ngl I feel like Yareli post-buffs isn't too bad anymore. Yes, she still prioritizes secondaries, but at least now if you slap on a couple augments she has a definitive playstyle. Does that mean I'd use her over Nezha? Not really (cuz Nezha's extremely similar but more versatile cuz his augments aren't "mandatory," he can be a support and nuke unlike Yareli, and he's 20x easier to farm), but hey, that's not too bad when you have frames like Chroma with 2 DEAD abilities.

I agree, but another KZbinr already pointed out that Banshee's Sonar weak points don't count as weak points. You still have to hit an enemy in the head or other specific weak points to get the time bonus. I hope DE will fix this to make our damage queen disappear for entire missions.

Considering this is the channel I learned how to properly play the game from years ago, It's always entertaining to check out the annual tier list. I (unlike some folks) completely understand that the list is subjective. I watch it for entertainment. I usually agree due to my preferred playstyle. As a side note, let me highlight a very important comment that so many ignore/miss: "every frame in the game can be good if you choose to play with that frame." Your preferred playstyle determines how "good" a frame actually is/feels at the end of the day.

@semidecent6773 it's literally a tierlist based on character usability... you're just wrong. Simple to use. Not a hard farm, did the challenges in a couple hours. Her 3 is synergistic, in a way, because it kills the people frozen in place. I'll agree she's not great, especially with the augment necessity and helm her 4 off because it's similar to the water drops. But saying she is trash is just wrong. 1.) Banshee's sonar is much better than roar in nearly every scenario (except heat inherit, certain melee affliction setups). 2.) Baruuk's 1st plays into his kit just fine. It's just evasion and passive restraint drain, not sure what you're talking about here tbh 3.) Chroma's helminth ranking should probably be a bit higher, considering the variety of great builds you can use on him. His recent augment for vex armor is quite good, and gives decent support alongside elemental ward augment. Chroma's additive damage buff is still very good and provides a lot of value to team compositions and multi CO weapons. I'd argue that the buff is universally better than roar helminth for buffing multi CO weapons, non-dot weapons, etc. His other base abilities do need help, regardless. 4.) Cyte helminth builds are nearly always worse than his base kit. Why you would take off the strongest exalted weapon in the game is beyond crazy. I can understand B tier for right now, since his kit is bugged and seek is not providing the right buff percentage, but once that gets fixed? The easiest S tier in the game (Also, your exalted is doing like, 1/8th of the damage it's supposed to? You gotta have an absolutely terrible build on it to get only 400K on a level 122 gunner). 5.) For Ember: due to changes in 1999, heat inherit ember is no longer good. As such, running a weapons platform build on her is not longer really as viable as it used to be? But her casting setups are very fun and provide lots of value to your team and yourself. Granted, I'll say that I agree with how many augments she needs is stupid, but you don't need that many stats on her kit to make it work in a caster setup anyways. I mostly agree with the ranking, but helminthing over her 1 is good (just don't do it for purely damage on a caster). 6.) Equinox is a fairly good ranking (I'd rank her base kit as D tier tbh, as someone who's spent nearly ~1000 hours on her), but I feel like you're sweeping an absolutely shit ton of versatile builds that she can do. Also, she scales really well with another equinox, being that they can ping pong damage back and forth and give double the support of a single setup. 7.) What the hell is that Gara build holy fuck that is cursed, there is so much wrong I don't even know where to start. 8.) Grendel's nourish is better on him, although this depends on if you wanna actually play Grendel. If you don't like Grendel and don't care for his mechanic, just don't play him and play rhino or something. 9.) For Harrow: For support, you gotta run tribunal augment. Yes, it is a bandaid augment and should be a part of his base kit, but that doesn't take away from the build when he really only needs range, duration, and some strength. He doesn't need survivability either because it's baked into his kit. Slapping nourish on him over his 3 is also a warcrime, holy shit? 10.) Haven is why Hildryn does better than other frames at her "job" (shield tanking, armor stripping, doing damage in aegis gale, etc.). She still has some jank associated with balefire (which definitely needs a buff) but please run an incarnon fist weapon and mod for movement speed if using aegis gale. Using vial rush is beyond stupid. They could still stand to buff the movement speed in aegis storm, regardless. Her big problem is being boring to play. 11.) Ivara's kit focuses on crit damage buffing and multiplicative damage buffs. Cyte focuses on weak point damage and crit chance, so it is different and ivara's buffs can be more valuable depending on the circumstance. She's still the most generally comfortable spy mission frame, but her exalted is blown out of the water by cyte for sure. I hope they get around to buffing it. Note that her design is mainly for setup in a single room, so you are slightly bending her design to do spy missions. Movement speed in prowl (which gives a crit damage and stealth buff btw) is less of an issue from a design standpoint than people realize. 12.) Your Jade take is 0 dimensional. The buffs are universally useful (incredible survivability for herself and a team so long as you play well, the damage buff is nice to have, and the strength buff is great for team comps and snapshotting), she's got decent DR in her 4 for most mission types with a good build. Her gameplay does get bland after a while, but you could do worse for boring playstyles (octavia/meta revenant). 13.) Koumei: Skill issue. If you can't use multiplicative CO or melee CO with her, you're beyond lost brother. Stop running torid on her. Learn how to use her abilities properly. 14.) Limbo: Complete skill issue. Visuals need to be fixed and he needs to work better in a team, also nullifies being a problem on high range setups. Besides that, D tier is quite a bad ranking for him. Watch Florida Man's video on him to better understand how to utilize him. 15.) Loki: Bruh, paste take. 16.) Nezha: Please stop using dark verse builds on Nezha. Use Nezha's status expedite on other things rather than slash. He also has great team support in massive orb generation and his augments give plenty of utility. 17.) Start using Nidus' kit please? 18.) All of Nyx's augments are very good, what are you on about? Assimilate alone is free invincibility. 19.) "[Oberon] is not going to be noticed in a team unless you use your second ability." No shit. Also, D tier is quite low. He has some scaling problems, but his kit functions fine. Also, get better helminth choices. 20.) Sevagoth: He has a true damage nuke (which you know about), his passive is fantastic and you don't utilize it at all, C tier is hella insulting. Dunno what you're on about here. 21.) Styanax: Nourish does nothing for him. This build is so ass, just use a different base kit build and you could reasonably see more benefit. Look up Kep's video. 22.) I think you played Yareli when she released and then didn't play her again with this take. 200% damage vuln on sea snares alone is fantastic. She's probably the best secondary buffer in the game, she's comfortable, and you really overstate problems in her kit. Please reconsider.

Nidus is 1000x better as a specter than to play, like, lmao. Loki is outdated despite having really good applications for Vascade. If you don't know why he's using dark verse over literally anything else, just say that. Oberon has no point and desperately needs an overhaul. It was funny when we could put the ground on hydron and sit in the rafters, but he still sucks. Nyx has an amazing amount of survivability, but her 4 sucks ass, even with the augment unless you invest heavily into parkour velocity- which, at that point, literally just play Revenant. Better summons and better survivability that doesn't revolve around a gimmick. Sure, with an insanely in-depth build, she can burst damage cap, that doesn't make her S/A tier.

I'm not saying she's even close to the best designed warframe (she has plenty of problems that KMF doesn't bring up), but putting her worse than qorvex is the biggest reach of all time. Koumei is functional, Qorvex has so many bugs and issues that only 2 of his abilities work as intended, one of which is a glorified hideous resistance. You can say Koumei is bad, I'm not going to try to glaze her, but a lot of the criticism is not on point and skirts the fundamental issue of her rolls not mattering. I could talk more about how her kit is not nearly as bad as people say it is, but I think people (after playing her for a short time) stopped experimenting with her and just regurgitated a popular youtuber opinion. -As for Loki, I agree. He's outdated, but KMF doesn't substantiate this very well stating that he's "only held up by arcanes, augments, and bugs". The first and last part are untrue, but augments being required is a problem on 20+ frames. I think D tier is much to harsh for a frame that can get decent value. -As someone who's played over 50 hours on nezha, I get why he uses it. His 4 with augment is a status share and expedite. Dark verse is used to prime this. However, I feel that there are better options like using thermal sunder, high AOE status weapons, etc. It's not the worst build in the world, but it drops off very quick in anything past base SP, and chakram multiplies itself on spears anyways. It's super easy to get the same (or better) value without dark verse. -Oberon has number problems, but saying he sucks sounds like you've played him for maybe an hour with a shitty overframe build and left it at that. Imo he's more of a base C tier warframe that DOES WORK with a well-designed build. With helminth, I can easily make it so that teammates never die in mission without the use of health tanking, even at level cap. You can use xata's/smite, you could use elemental ward for more support, etc. He has variety, but he does need help with numbers and some bugs on his base kit. I'm not so pissed about the base ranking, but more weirded out by the helminth ranking. It's clear people don't think much outside the box. -Saying just to play revenant here is kinda paste. You can say this about any warframe. Doesn't have survivability? Play revenant. Sure, I'm not happy about the movement speed either, but it got updated to a non-sprint walk instead of a slow walk, and you can use it very effectively with the right build. I would recommend trying the new updated version because it is different from the previous version. Give it a shot, cook something up if you want to. If you still think it's bad due to the invincibility in exchange for movement speed, then deactivate and reactivate when you need it. It isn't a hard problem to get around. The rest of the augments have very solid value for the mod slot, and they aren't necessary anymore. All in all, good rework. I think you should give her another shot, I think your opinion could change a bit.

As for Nyx, I just see everything about her outside of the 3 as a weak gimmick. Even with the augment, the mind controlled goon does piss damage and is only worth for strengthening her 4. I wish they changed absoarb, watching the rework stream and seeing her strike that pose but now hover around I was insanely disappointed. A good rework, and a massive bump up from where she was, but still not something I have any interest in, personally. Any frame can do levelcap/ damage cap, that's not impressive to me, it's about how fun to play they are, or how brainlessly they let you play to focus on obj. If eximus units didnt make her 3 completely irrelevant, she would be better- it is what it is.

great video, don't have much to disagree but there is one thing that i think you have to know about titania. pillage +high str+high duration build. just try it. finisher damage for melee , gas electric for her pistols. she is my go-to circuit frame and it works basically any game type where you have to kill stuff. i have been holding this build back, not sharing it around in fear of it getting nerfed, but i think you deserve it. love the content, love your personality, keep doing what you are doing

Grendel can full restore his shield gate, and can full heal his on average 3k health support by massive armor and DR. It makes him near impossible to kill. Imagine saying a Warframe is C tier because one of his skills KILL TO FAST. Like just eat more enemies. Plus Nourish on Grendel not only heals, but gives more energy Regen. This is a hord shorter and there are plenty of mobs to eat. So we are going to call him C tier because boss rooms are usually one on one? Knightmare Frame can have is opinion. But in no way is this an objective tier list. Nourish isn't worse on Grendel, it heals and gives more buffs. On Helminth it doesn't require a resource but doesn't heal and provides less energy. It's a trade off, and objectively better in Grendel's favor.

Gyre is suuuuper good, especially at nuking. However, she relies massively on getting kills to extend the duration of her 3 and 4 (with the Cathode Current). If you activated your 3 and a teammate nukes all the enemies near you, you have a 40-50 second cooldown before you can start her engine up again. If your teammate does it again, you've got another 40-50 seconds to wait. But if you manage to get her going, she becomes an absolute powerhouse that shreds steel path level 200+ to pieces.

Don't replace her Molt, its her survivability. Always replace her Miasma if you subsume helminth ability on her. She usually doesn't build armor and health, but stats-wise she have higher base health and armor than Excalibur Umbra.

Her survivability is mostly just molt and shield gating. I use a nourish build on her (over her 4th) and it has enough energy sustain that if your shields get broken you just press 2 and they're replenished instantly and you're usually fine. You can also go for the cc route and put Mesa's second ability on her, with the augment, works pretty well but sadly blinds don't work on eximus units anymore.

Would've been nice to have some type of objective "this is what each rank means" because it feels like a lot of your scores are arbitrary. B for some frames means middle of the pack while B for other frames means "I don't like this frame." For instance, Octavia is not the most powerful frame in the game, but she is the most broken. She has two different abilities that turn off enemy AI, group perma-stealth + other buffs, and a huge damage Amp. But this is worse than Rhino because.... why again? Octavia can provide more damage to a team than Rhino can, has a high-priority taunt that infinitely reflects damage, and perma-stealth which, in most forms of content, is effective invincibility. Sounds like you think she's boring which is fine, but she is clearly a top-tier frame (arguably the best frame in the game). Another example is Titania. Her kit kind of sucks BUT the reality is that she is the best frame to play in Capture, Exterminate (on normal path), and Rescue. I'm not understanding how she can be the best frame in 3 game modes but be C-tier. If you want to say that her kit is poorly designed, I completely agree with you. But in terms of raw power, it's obviously there. Do you genuinely believe that Titania is as useful as Atlas? I don't think you actually believe that. Do you really think that Banshee is as useful as Titania? Is Caliban with Helminth REALLY stronger than Octavia? Gauss is REALLY bad if you are playing a mission where you can't just run around the way that you want to, but he gets to be S-tier even though he has a VERY clear weakness in his kit that is pretty substantial in missions like defense/mobile defense and just enclosed tilesets in general? Is Oberon with helminth truly about the same level of usefulness as Titania? Trinity got an AMAZING quality-of-life update, but her rank is... the same? Also, is she really as useful as Citrine? If she didn't just get a new skin, do you think she would have any playrate whatsoever? I like Vauban, but let's be real here, he is only playable in interception because he can keep enemies at a certain position indefinitely. Is that truly the same level of usefulness as Titania? Xaku's kit "doesn't make any sense," but it's A-tier at base? I don't think you're dumb; you're one of the biggest Warframe creators but this list clearly has a ton of "I don't like this frame so they're grade is worse." That is fine btw, it's you're video so you can do whatever you want with your content BUT when you say in the beginning that lower tier frames are just bad, it makes it really hard to take your seriously when you have Gauss as S-tier when he's pretty mediocre in certain game modes but Titania in C-tier when she is the meta Capture/Rescue/Normal path Exterminate frame.

Not only does he have a "this is what this letter grade means" but he also tries to make it clear whenever his bias is influencing certain gardes and how he tries to account for that bias. He will say "Octavia is boring and I won't play her but she's obviously completely broken. However, no one plays her so she can't be meta warping if she is completely absent from the meta!" It feels like Knightmare frame's review of Octavia is simply "I don't like camping and Octavia camps. B" which is just... wrong. Not only is it wrong, its a reddit-commenter level of engagement with the idea of a tier list. It makes me not want to trust his opinion on basically anything given that I am also an endgame player and I have engaged with these characters and systems close to as much as he has.
