I’ve seen a few hubs blow out like that it’s and usually it’s because the chain was too tight and it rips the sprocket off when the rear suspension moves. Happens a bunch on KTM’s but can happen on other bikes too. A rock or stick can sometimes catch in the chain and sprocket and make the chain too tight as well. Bad luck sometimes

About the hub blowing out on the kawi? Just be the cheap chinesium they are using on the bikes now. Even ktm quality of alumium has dropped loads over the last 5 years. If they are afternarket hubs tho....Id be questioning them 😅
