@@sammydavis991 100% poor reliability! We sold our GV80 after only a year of ownership. They do not like frigid Canadian winters and I do not think their 6 cylinder engines are built for longevity by any means.

Smart luxury buyer by Acura or Lexus. Genesis always copy other car manufacturers designs. I own an Acura ZDX Type S Performance Wheel and Tire. Black exterior and red interior. Black wheels and yellow brake calipers. No thank you on Korean cars. All the recalls, insurance is high, and they are not reliable.

The HVAC is haptic, so despite being a touch screen it does have some feel to it. But most of the use is done by the dials, so it's still better than VAG's units. Sort of an approval coming from a ruddite like me.

I personally own one. As much as I love the vehicle, it is one to lease, not buy. I need to replace my battery and I was quoted $389 for the battery; $190 for labor. 😵. It approaches BMW money for maintenance. Have to replace a headlight cause of moisture getting in? People have seriously said $10K for it. I thought it was a joke until others chimed in with the same info.

Looking good - but does it get a real rear turn signal like the non-North American models already do? Blinking the brake lights to indicate turns is NOT acceptable.

It was surprisingly terrible. Wide angle cameras are never good for cars. But it was also strangely dark.

It's still a "pure" EV. A dedicated platform has nothing to do with EV status. The BMW i7 shares platforms with the gas variants and it's about as pure as EVs get.
