When you spawn on the coast and see the railway is BEFORE the road, you are most likely on the south coast. If the road is BEFORE the railway you are almost certain on the east coast.

I, as a brand new player, found myself with kuru after being kidnapped from the beach as a new spawn and force fed with a bag over my head 😂 They also geared me up like crazy, NVGs, an LAR, massive backpack, tons of ammunition, a plate carrier, suppressed Desert eagle, compass, canteen and so much more, including a lot of food. I don’t even know what to do with that kind of gear, so after they dropped me off in a random place I was just looking through everything, trying to decide what to do next. Wasn’t till later I started laughing… I’ve built an improvised shelter to store the gear in before I do the bullet to the brain thing 😆 Anyway, very good videos, lots of good info.

Eating only when your food bar is yellow will double the buff. That's really good to know. Curious to know if food and water are wasted if you already have full bars, yet your stomach is not full.

food bars go down faster at full food, but u dont get the immune system benefit if u dont keep them at full, or very nearly.

Also, car radiators are surprisingly good weapons, able to 1 hit kill zombies, if youre a freshie making your way back to your base and get in a sticky situation the radiator in the shed you went into hide might be a good weapon.

Combining different condition ammo does not change anything but the average condition of the stack. The individual bullets retain their condition and if you split stacks of ammo into single rounds you will see this.

As a new player who absolutely is a sucker for hardcore zombie survival games like this, unturned got me into them as a kid. I found this video really helpful the farthest I had ever gotten was building a fireplace and cooking some food which got me sick and I died

also when you are wet- pop multivitamin,you cant get sick while you have the vitamin effect. same goes with drinking contaminated water. While you have the vitamin effect,you wont get sick from the water.

Im a new console player and the thing I had to work out that changed my game was that you have to look down at infected you kill then press the touchpad to see whats inside them. Massivly increased my loot haul Extremely useful video

One of the biggest tips for console players (at least next generation, Idk about PS4-era consoles for sure,) is that DayZ has mouse and keyboard support even for consoles. That means if you get a USB mouse and keyboard you will have a pretty massive advantage over everyone who's playing and trying to aim with controller joysticks.

Epoxy putty also works to repair car parts. And the blowtorch now works to fix your vehicle engine instead of the pipe wrench which did it before

I'm not sure if you said this before but if you get blood infection and as soon as you get it use alcohol tincture to disinfect your wound it should remove the blood infection. That is only if you do it within the first couple min of the infection.

Wolves dont attack infected since about 10 patches ago i think. And attaching grenades to your vest wont make it explode, those attachment slots for the grenades act like its a layer deep, nonetheless its a good video for beginners who started recently, i even learnt a thing or 2

Correct - nades on a vest will not explode. Its the noob tube rounds on your vest that may still explode.

Pretty sure wolves will attack infected. When I first started playing again on console about 6/7 months ago...a wolf came at me then a zombie started chasing it. I know I saw a zombie chasing a boar the other day.

Also for chernarus clouds go from West to east, sun rises from the East sets in the west, very good survival tip to keep in mind if you don't have the Izurvive map, or play on a vanilla server ✌️✌️

Man dayz is fun. I remember when there was cars added. My biggest gripe is wtf are the new air control towers at airfields those used to be like the holy grail of loot. Now they are huge and hardly have anything

I decided to get back into DayZ after a while of touching grass and playing other games, and oh boy, this helped a lot. I felt like I was playing the game for the first time again and I was glad I chose PVE over PVP since the official servers are cesspits of toxic players and hackers, along with the occasional stray average Rust player. Side note* the Vigas is often better for raiding, especially in small groups where amm is hard to come by. On an active server, 7.62 can be rare enough and drum mags omg. But vigas will litter because there under used I'm combat. It's good since raiding is often close quarters, and you can toss all the gear without feeling like you burned something valuable. We would often run 2 men double vigas with big backpacks dull of drums, 2 m4s with 308 on back plus one man AK 545 or 762 with a tool to bury and dig up on back.

Honestly, I just got Day z on console. This game is ROUGH but fun at the same time. Something I play to take a break when I’m not sweating in comp on other games. With that said, idk how to meet people in the game. It would be nice to have some friends to pay with I think it would make the game 10x better

Im on PC, but the only time i find people who don't shoot first ask questions later is if i catch someone off guard when i am freshly spawned and try talking to them through proximity chat before they see me. Normally if i talk to someone before they see me theyre more relieved that i didnt try to kill them so they just chill and talk to me. Also helps if u tell them youre new and ask if they need anything.

The only tip I didn’t know about was the spear. Never seen one or made one. Also the VSS also spawns on military convoys and the NVG can spawn at NWAF. Last but not least is epoxy putty can also fix crossbows! The more you know 😁👍🏼

If you skin an animal in gloves and then drop gloves - your hands will be clear and you don't need to wash them :) (And fun bug - if you pick gloves back from the ground - they wont be in blood too)

3:20 Playing as a dueo we parked a car in a garage to log out for the evening. Had enough inventory space at the time so we pulled the radiator, spark plug, battery and put in our inventory. Then we took both tires off one side and held them in our hands during log off. Car was gone the next day.🤨 My question is who's driving around in the dog gone fully loaded Snap-On truck? 😂 Was a single house with one garage wayyy on the outskirts. Could not believe we got car jacked, oh well good times. So dont think just taking the spark plug is gunna be adequate, you need to chop shop that B or put it behind a combination lock.

With the next update, you can’t put your weapon on your back and use the universal as a headlamp. It will point straight up, so you can still use it in prone, but otherwise it will be a beacon.

The sarka having the engine in the back can be good or bad because if you hit something at a high speed your radiator wont get ruined or damaged but if you think about it if your being shot at if they just hit the engine a couple times with a tundra its done for

Use a knife on guts to make rope,I've figured I can place tents in cut down bushes if ground is flat and your stubborn enough, farming convoys is easy and provides better loot than helis

LoL Improvised Feet Wraps is the Only thing I wear on my Feet, I always try to keep 2 spare pairs on me at all times and extra rags as they don't last as long as shoes or boots but they are So Much More stealthy and worth wearing especially if your Solo...

If I can I always use the sewing kit for a bandage. It's silent basically and you don't crouch while applying it. Quite good for close fights they won't even know lol

@@Yoo_BK You can use alcohol or any other disinfectant to disinfect your wounds and you will be cured in literally less than 2 minutes. No point in disinfecting items, since they can get damaged and you need to disinfect them again.

Some corrections: Grenades don't explode on you when shot you can get svals and vss's at heli crashes disarming a land mine is a 50/50 chance with screwdriver not sure on the other tools though you cant repair weapon attachments while still on the gun

There was four things I didn't know. 1 Getting stones with wrenches and pipe wrenches. 2 Building with a meat tenderizer and that it was silent. 3 wolves couldn't attack you in water. 4 all the uses a screw driver had.
