Thank you for sparking my interest back to resin work. My sister died a couple of months ago and I haven't had any interest in going back to resin. Then I saw this and I have decided to take flowers from my sister's funeral service and make pendants for all the female relatives. I can't wait to get started! Thank you once again. My heart is with you in your loss. I make pieces with loved ones ashes mixed into the resin and pieces of flowers maybe ones that were their favorite. Then my customer comes to my work space and I let them add the ashes to the resin and pour the first layer if they’re comfortable. It’s so fulfilling!

#3, you should put the shimmer under the white layer, then use your tiniest tip for your bottle of UV Resin and use the drips from your bottle of UV Resin; I've been using the UV Resin since 1-2018...

I make jewelry with bezels too. On the one that the ring is facing up, I place it on a piece of plastic so the ring hangs over the edge. I love all three of your pieces. I especially love the one with abalone shells.

These turned out beautiful. One of my favorite tricks for UV resin is to cure my pieces on a mirror. The mirror helps reflect onto the bottom. I do still turn my pieces over, but the mirror has cut down on a lot of my curing time.

Packing tape works really well. Because it’s clear so you can take a UV light put it underneath and get a better light. Also, if the sun is shining or if it’s not raining, even if it’s cloudy, you can put a clear top over it and put it outside for a little while, and the sun will get dark, if it’s shady, cloudy.

I’ve never sanded or polished uv resin, mine has always been shiny when I’m done 🤔
