I think fans will find the tourney more fun than people currently think. One thing I think the NBA could implement is a Western-Eastern challenge similar to the Big 10-ACC challenge in college. The reason a mid-season tournament won't matter in the NBA as it does in college hoops or soccer is that there's such an expansive pool of teams and talent in those other leagues. The Auburn basketball team just played the Israeli National Team. It was mad entertaining. NBA teams playing exhibitions or games against non-NBA comp isn't competitive. Take the ACC-Big10 matchups for example. The games are super competitive and these teams don't play each other often. The NBA just can't do that. The regular season schedule has every team play a couple to three times. There's nothing special about the tourney as of now

I wouldn't trade Luka for both guys of any backcourt you mentioned. In the Warriors case it is mainly because of age and Steph is the only player mentioned you could argue is better than Luka and they did beat the Mavs and won the title so you have to put them first. Y’all let Joel look like the reasonable one who considered the offense and defense both. CP3 with Giannis is not the same CP3 with Ayton fam. Most importantly!!! - You’re also all ignoring the pieces in Milwaukee for around CP3 are even better than the Suns. Giannis and all these shooters? Almost couldn’t build a better team for CP3.
