@@thelanehunterdevon1664 fair point, but ridden previous 790 adventure r quite a bit, Norden 901 quite a lot and 790 adventure. Just the feeling of quality with aftermarket suspension is totally different 👍. Thanks, Aaron Knox

the 890 really is the top performing mid weight adv bike on the market, especially with wp pro component suspension. i had a 790 rally and now, i have an 890 rally. both bikes' performance are exceptional. the biggest issue that i've had with any ktm is the the ktm dealer service. i have four ktm bikes and they have all been quite reliable. 890 did experience cams issue, which was only discovered during 18k miles service and ktm covered cost to repair. the bike ran fine even with cam issue, which was pitting on the cams not premature wear. repairing the cams "issue" was a disaster. ktm dealership screwed up the installation and engine wouldn't run. ktm paid for replacing cams and the subsequent repair to replace the engine's top end. both 790 and 890 ran without issue until 18k services. ktm dealership -two different shops- screwed up both 18k services, which damaged both engines. the only hesitation that i have about buying ktm is servicing the bikes.

I would rather have the gytr tenere 700 for that money it would be more reliable for sure and you dont need the extra bhp the ktm has over the tenere
