My hubby was sitting at the computer desk next to mine in our dining room, and I was able to point at the polka-dot afghan on the back of your couch and tell him, "That's what I've been making, dear!" Took advantage of the long Memorial Day weekend to start joining the squares into strips (with single-crochet seams, not the JAYGO method you were using), and am just starting to join the squares for the 4th (of 6) strips. My daughter finished her Master's degree in Library Science in December, and has been job-hunting ever since then. If I can finish this polka-dot blanket by the time she gets offered a job, it may become a house-warming present for her 1st apartment!

I absolutely love the last yarn, the orange and pink metallic. I have a perfect pattern but it’s a triangular shawl. Absolutely gorgeous. By the way I wanted to tell you that you have a beautiful selection of green yarn. My favorite of all is emerald green and it’s hard to find that particular shade in the weight you want. I was also screaming and giggling the whole time you were unboxed soon. I suppose I felt it was my box too. Have a beautiful day.
