I am always amazed how hard that 20 pound ball hits. As far as 2-handed, you look like a natural. You would not have to worry about still trying to develope a pro release as a two hander---it is already there when you bowl 2-handed. However, I would first have to see you bowl with a 15 or 16 lb ball 2-handed to know for sure.

Bowling on golden pins was similar. Bad shots got penalized more.. the pins were only a few oz heavier each too. There is a huge difference in carry between 14 and 16 lbs.. 20lb ball would blow through the rack

I bowled conventionally throughout highschool, then I stopped bowling all-together. When I came back I switched to 2handed due to some physicality issues, and stuck with it for 7-8 months. Just switched back to 1handed a couple weeks ago because I just have more fun that way. Honestly, to me, its just a matter of which style do you have the most fun doing.

If you were to switch, you would have to either plug all your equipment or buy new equipment but with only two fingers. Don’t think of it as easy or hard mode. Do whatever you think is going to help your game the most. Who knows, making the switch might help you make the cut at a PBA regional. 🤷‍♂️

If you can control your speed from say 15-16mph to 17-18mph and play different angles accurately, you should definitely switch. Your ball roll is much better with your hand position when bowling 2 handed. I'd like to see you throw a reactive ball at normal weight to see your ball reaction then tho..

You have great form throwing it that way. What I would advise you (if my advice meant anything) is go with the more comfortable and sustainable approach. While you seem to have great results two handed during one game, that doesn't do you any good during a 6 or 12 game block if you can't sustain it.

This. My avg only goes down when my thumb swells. Start nights with 240s and sometimes end in the 170s because my thumb gets so jacked up - especially in summer league.
