Exactlyyy lmao I was just telling my friends about that. Like nobody realized the impact on that part. Or even when the male chimp says “the elders did not tell us everything about this world” off that line alone I believe the apes in this time have the wrong idea of the past. I’m almost certain they believe they were the original dominant species while humans were always the “stupid animals” and I think Mae knows the truth and so does the mc ape.

It definitely ties in with the first movie of the OG film. I like to see these movies as prequels to the original films in a way. It's the beginning of the planet of the apes, before they became technologically advanced

Great movie! I have always loved the Planet of the Apes series, both original and new. I'm so glad they are maintaining high quality with top notch story telling, characters, acting, world building and effects. I love how the new movies are all leading up to the climactic timeline of the original when the astronauts will return "home."

SLIGHT SPOILER: but one thing i absolutely loved was the fact that Noa was tased on the same spot where Caesar had his birthmark so it just felt extra special😭 one of my favorite details i noticed

It has nothing to do with Ceasar. The films aren’t related
@coogie.cookie8 ай бұрын
@@kingalex2083 i know the films and noa + caesar aren’t related, im a big fan of the OG and new movies so i knew about that before watching Kingdom :). i’m just saying how it was cool that a sort of parallel was created between the two MCs. Noa’s mark was from an injury while Caesar’s was a birthmark, but they’re both our protagonists which was cool to me. this was just something i wanted to mention bc it was something i truly noticed while watching it in theaters. hope that clears that up.

But whoever came up with this new film, kingdom of the apes is a mastermind genius 🎉❤ I mean this is a great intro for the next movies of this franchise 😮and I can't wait to watch them all. After all, Planet of the Apes is my all time fave franchise, while the new one gives me tingles 😅 anyway, keep doing the great work that you guys do and let's have 20th Century Fox as the main distributor of these movies. @4124V4TA-SNPCA-x8 ай бұрын
@@NyahJustice I think she came to the future from the past, the time of the beginning of the first of the new trilogy. She knows humans built language, technology and everything but other apes took over and appropriated them. You see? Haven't you seen any original POTA? I can't see your parallel. And humans wasn't extinct 66 million years ago. Only went atavistic during the last couple off centuries here. And dinosaurs aren't all went extinct, birds are all around us, so the world still also belongs to dinosaurs.
