@sahariissa

When i see people commenting this way i feel the need to explain a point thats very important. This scene opens a persons eye to love and teaches you to cherish moments. But remember that these are just moments. A relationship in real life is how you preserve these moments in ur memories and live by them. You can’t expect to find someone that will always be happy musical and romantic. That’s reality. My boyfriend and I love each other a lot but we have to always create memories and show each other love despite the hardships of life. Its important to remember that this scene is just a moment in a relationship. Real life is more challenging than that. You might have a had ur moment but it just not edited on screen like this one. No real moment will be edited honestly. Youll see and experience it differently than others. And if u haven’t I hope you will someday!

For me, she has the most amazing eyes. Her lips are beautiful, too, but her eyes (especially in this movie) are just.....WOW. That colour, that form....absolutely unique. I used to think blue eyes were ugly (I've got blue eyes too and hated it), but she convinced me of the opposite. Leo's face is breathtakingly beautiful as a whole, but his eyes alone aren't nearly as amazing as Kate's imo.

I physically can't watch this scene without crying my eyes out. It's so beautifully, desperately tragic and so wonderfully romantic. We all know what happens and yet we latch onto the idea that they will survive and live happily ever after which makes it all the more painful. Sofia Aleksov, it's for the exact reason that you can't have them together that you want them together so much. That's the entire point of Titanic's success - it's a tragedy. Romeo & Juliet, Ghost, The Notebook ... They're all tragic love that deprive the audience of a happy end.

I love the faraway shot of them on the bow, showing the entire ship in all of its beauty sailing through its final sunset. It shows how minuscule they are compared to the size and brilliance of the Titanic. The soundtrack is phenomenal.

Although I had seen ''William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet'' a year before ''Titanic'', ''Titanic'' was the film that made me 100% convinced that I wanted to marry Leo and have his children. Yet I was only 11 when the film came out lol. He was breathtakingly handsome in this film.

FeelinErie I watched Romeo and Juliet ages ago and I love it and this film - my only question is why does young Leo always die in all the films he's in and fall in love in 2 mins - in Romeo and Juliet he sees her 2 mins later their kissing and like a day later their married then 2 days later their both dead - And this all happened in the space of a week

omg I never realized how one of the most romantic scenes in film history is actually quiet scary! that railing was definitely not high enough to ensure that they would not fall. I mean they stepped up on the railing and they're not even holding on! but gosh, this is really eating me up. It's been maybe 10 years since I watched this film. I really need to see it again.

Titanic is my all time favourite movie and here's why: usually I would think that this love story is stupid (they fell in love in just two days, that's ridicolous. I mean I love R and J as much as the next person but I have always found it weird that they got married the day after they met. I dont care how long ago it was, I dont think that happens.) But this story makes sense despite the very little time they spent together. I have always been a sucker for starcrossed lovers, but this goes deeper than that. Rose is the stuck rich girl, she has the means (kind of) to do anything but she's not allowed, she feels like she's not in control of her own life. Jack is the complete opposite, he's poor but free, no one expects anything from him and he can go and do whatever he wants and that, is what I think, Rose fell in love with. He made her feel free. And as for what she gave him is that, I think, all this traveling he has been doing has been fun but that it also has its consequences. Maybe he feels that he doesn't really belong anywhere, that not a single soul cares if he disappears tommorow but then he met Rose and in her he found a home. Someone he can settle down with and be content. Now I feel like I overanalyzed, but yeah. This is why I love Titanic. Ps. Also because Leo is hot 😍😍
