So why does this footage appear like it was filmed in the 1920s?

If was filmed with an 8mm camera in 1984

Though it is lesser today, we must end native forest logging which still desolates ancient rainforest and endangered species today. There is a lot more money and employment in the plantation industry, and it is proven by native forestry losing over $1.3 billion over 20 years. We need to stamp out the corruption that prolongs this industry which almost transitioned in 2014 until the next government decided these 500 jobs were more valuable than solving any of Tasmania's major problems. It is the most special place on the planet, we cannot act so short-sightedly when it is so meaningless.

For sure, also needs to be a large effort by the government to make sure jobs lost from stopping of native growths are created in either planation forestry or other alternatives so the rural communities that rely on the practice for there lives are remembered also
