I have no intention from straying from my Sasquatch's 35" tires, but adding the relocation bracket to the reinforcement plate I've run for the last year as it should help provide some added clearance for my hitch-mounted bike rack. Thanks for making this extremely clear walk-through.

Thank you so much for the helpful video. I really appreciate it. The chapter headings and presenters calm demeanor put me into a Zen like mechanical trance. I guess I know where I'm buying my next off-road parts!

I wish they made a more stealthy version of this without the huge RC branding and that didn't cover up quite as much of the rear tailgate. Otherwise it looks like a good solution.

Love the use of painter's tape to hold the spacers. Will definitely do that as well.

Just put the spacers on the bolt…

You can also use a dab of grease so they stick in.

Did I miss something, or does that metal bracket bolt directly up to a fresh paint job? I didn’t see anything separating it from the paint

I bought it and after seeing it I had to come see this video.. yes metal straight to fresh paint… need to either apply some ppf or something similar

I don't see how this would work. The load rests primarily on the hinges, not the tailgate. The hinges is where the failure would occur. You've just added more weight to the hinges, you need to beef up the hinge assembly, not the door?

Great video, as are all of yours. Have you seen or heard of Ford or any aftermarket brand making a larger bump stop to help support the tire at the bottom? Or is that not necessary if installing the both the bracket and the reinforcement?
@stage3motorsports2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Randy! I don't know of any aftermarket bumps to support the tire as of right now, but I do know that Grimm Offroad's tire carrier (currently in development) has brackets that allow you to adjust the factory bumps out to support the tire.

Where can I see a side view? I’m curious if or how much this makes the spare stick out.
@jaybogard90702 жыл бұрын
The spare tire bracket adds almost exactly 1 inch of poke(fore/aft) and raises the spare tire two inches upwards. The tailgate light relocation bracket raises the light 2 inches well

Looks like good stuff. Just hate how it says RC all over the place.
