Excellent video! I am old enough to remember when Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood Airport (in Dania - yes, the entire airport grounds were actually in Dania, FL) was - essentially - a couple of double-wide trailers as the 'terminal' with zero jetways(!) PLUS, if you were unlucky enough to get a train crossing the ONLY entrance to the airport from US 1 well, you'd miss your flight. And this wasn't all that long ago - I'm talking '75 or so. 😎🙂👍

@@FloridaAviationChannel It was kind of paradise back then - literally NO people off-season. You could take a nap in the middle lane of US A1A at Noon in July with no fear of being hit - it was that sleepy back then. I'll dig up some old pics and send to you!
