It was different back in the day. Innerwest was Burwood ways, all the way to Auburn, Granville, Guildford, Merrylands right up to Parramatta. And the different sets from these suburbs would unite against other areas. Liverpool & Cabramatta identified as SouthWest but beefed with other Southwest areas and stood on their own. Lakemba, Belmore, Campsie, Bankstown, Canterbury etc.. all identified as innerwest but also stood on their own. Nowadays, shits different. 21 district is a brotherhood of boys from different sets, from all over the innerwest and 21 postcodes. Younger generations seem much more united than before.
