It’s funny to spot a cat running free when you already know what they say about us Dominicans and cats… And I wasn’t aware this was something attributed to us until my West Indian husband pointed it out to me. 😏 Had to tell him I wasn’t aware of anyone doing this until I asked a fellow Dominican and they said siiii locrio de gato… in what hood? Please tell me so I don’t touch the locrio…🤣😂😂😂 I Love cats too much for that funny business…

Did your grand uncle spoke creole? Your creole prononciation is very good.

He spoke some plus we have some roots there on one of the family branches. I spent a lot of time in Haiti during my apprenticeship years and always had many haitian friends while in the DR.
